This month, we are thrilled to feature an extraordinary Adventure Nanny, Tamara T., who attended Brenau University for her Early Childhood Degree and possesses over 15 different certifications in childcare.
What are you into right now?
Furthering my career with children!
What is one of your most treasured moments when working with children?
The love, laughter, and growth!
What are your favorite de-stressing self-care routines that are accessible for any budget?
Going for walks, journaling, or getting a pedicure!
What is one piece of life advice you hold dear?
Treat others how you would like to be treated.
What advice would you give to other nannies for staying calm and collected while working during a pandemic?
Do not overthink anything! We’re living in hard, unpredicted times and need to keep sanity for the kids!
Is there anything else you’d like us to know?
My philosophy on childcare emphasizes children learning through a safe, healthy, and play-based environment following the child’s development, care, and education. Bonding and communicating are number one for me. I have experience with kids ranging from newborn to 12 years old!
What are your favorite non-profits?
The Red Cross is consistently working towards an extremely important mission: Red Cross volunteers and staff work to deliver vital services – from providing relief and support to those in crisis, to helping you be prepared to respond in emergencies.
