A fun and active family in Cambridge, Massachusetts is looking for a bright and engaging nanny to care for their 4-year-old daughter and 18-month-old son. They truly value the care their nanny provides and are looking for someone loving, responsible, organized, and of course fun!
The family lives in a wonderfully walkable area, and they are looking forward to finding someone who can take advantage of the local shops, parks and attractions. The ideal nanny is city-savvy and has familiarity with driving in traffic, parallel parking in tight spots, and getting around in the snow. Are you enthusiastic and take initiative planning activities for the kids? Are you able to balance the unique needs of two children? If you answered yes to all of the above, this could be the dream job for you!
Their little boy likes to adventure outside and also enjoys one-on-one time reading, chatting and lots of physical activity. Their little girl is smart and spunky. She loves to create narrative adventures, read books, and loves playing imaginative games.
Both parents work flexibile schedules and the nanny will be required to work a flexible schedule as well, typically ~35 hours a week, Monday-Friday. The family will provide an exact schedule at least two weeks in advance. They will ask for some weekend coverage, typically once a month, and may occasionally ask their nanny to travel with them on domestic and international trips.
The family is offering a competitive full-time salary for the flexibility the nanny will be asked to provide. They are also offering full health coverage and will cover the nanny’s taxes. The nanny will be given 5 sick days, 2 weeks vacation and 10 federal holidays. While this position comes with excellent benefits, we truly believe the biggest perk to be working with this fun and grateful family!
The position is open to all Adventure Nannies holding a US Passport. The ideal start date is February 1st or sooner.
