An active family of 5 who splits their time between homes in New York City and Miami is seeking an energetic, imaginative, and professional nanny to join them on their adventures.
This tight-knit family is very happily busy with a 3.5 year-old, 2 year-old, and a 5 month-old baby. Both parents work, so an organized and collaborative environment is necessary to help things run smooth in this bustling and loving home. An energetic nanny who can be flexible and proactive in collaborating with 2 other nannies will thrive in this role! The ideal candidate will be imaginative and excited to create engaging activities and games while traveling between the homes and on other trips.
The position in live-in five days a week at the family’s home in Manhattan, with occasional travel to their home in Miami. Comfortable accommodations will be provided. The families prefer the candidates live out on their days off. The days may be spent with one or all of the children. Travel will expand as the children grow and will include both domestic and international trips.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with young children, be energetic, creative, trustworthy and pleasant to be around and work with. The family has a great sense of humor and fun loving spirit, and a team player attitude is required! Experience working in a fully staffed home is a bonus.
This position is open to all Adventure Nannies candidates who are legally able to work in the United States. The family is looking to find the right person as soon as possible. Compensation will be competitive and benefits are being offered. The family is searching for a ‘perfect fit’ and is willing to assist the right person with re-location if necessary.
-Standard childcare duties including bathing, feeding, dressing, napping, and assistance with morning and evening routines
-Join the family on outings including birthday parties, play groups, sporting events and occasional travel
-Provide enriching experience and activities beyond basic care including local outings and adventures
-Household management tasks, including occasional errands
-Ability to travel frequently
-At least 3 years professional infant and childcare experience
-Knowledgeable about each childhood development state and attuned to the child’s developmental needs
-Possess experience exhibiting discretion and loyalty while working with high profile families
-A positive, team-player attitude
-Exhibits good judgement and common sense
-Ability to commit long-term to a nanny position and truly become part of the family
-Ability to swim and care for children around water
