A bustling private family based in Denver, Colorado is seeking a hands-on, organized, and self-starting candidate to join their household staff as the Facilities Manager. The role will entail overseeing any and all projects that help the residential properties run smoothly, as well as supporting and improving the existing systems.
As a household with many moving parts, they have put together a dedicated staff and value employees who can work both as project leaders and team players. The perfect candidate will work directly with the Household Manager and Principal of the home as a well-oiled machine to develop and implement efficient systems for the residential properties.
The family’s main residence is in the Denver, Colorado area and part of this role will also be to oversee their vacation residences. The family highly values discretion as well, so a candidate who shares those values will be key.
As a facilities manager, overseeing the day-to-day of the home will include making sure all building operations, maintenance, safety, security systems, landscaping, and irrigation systems of the home are up to par. This is a hands-on position, so a candidate who is comfortable conducting any routine repairs or inspections will be essential! Though hands-on, the candidate also needs to be comfortable managing and coordinating any third-party vendors, contractors, architects, designers, and any other consultants for the home.
The facilities manager will be detail-oriented, able to multi-task and prioritize the many events of the home and have a “no job is too big or too small” attitude.
