
These loving, family-oriented first-time parents in Coral Gables, FL, are seeking a gentle, collaborative, and trustworthy newborn care specialist to provide present, engaged overnight care during their son’s early months.
- Location: Coral Gables, Florida
- Ages of children: 10 weeks old
- Start date/Contract dates: As soon as possible, 12 weeks
- Schedule: 12 weeks of 12-hour overnight care, 8pm-8am, with optional additional daytime hours
- Compensation: The family is offering an hourly rate of $50-60 for the overnight care, which equates to an estimated base compensation of $50,400-$60,480, dependent on candidate experience and the agreed-upon schedule and contract length. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-in. A private bedroom will be provided.

Someone who understands the importance of promptly communicating any concerns or changes they observe and consistently prioritizes the baby's safety and well-being will be perfect for the role.
- Responsibilities include creating a nurturing and safe environment for the newborn to thrive, as well as other child-related tasks including prepping and sanitizing bottles, baby’s laundry, tidying the nursery, and generally bringing a supportive, all-hands-on-deck, collaborative attitude to each day.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of relevant professional experience (as a newborn care specialist, night nanny, doula, or nanny)
- Experience working as a newborn care specialist and/or doula with at least 5 families
- Knowledge of every aspect of newborn care, including professional and working knowledge of feeding, bathing, and dressing infants, and preparing, cleaning, and sanitizing bottles
- Experience and knowledge surrounding sleep conditioning, establishing routines, feeding routines, and developmental milestones
- Newborn care specialist training, preferably through Newborn Care Solutions or another CACHE-accredited program
- Valid driver's license
- Valid passport
- Travel experience
- Cat-friendly
- Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family
