Household dynamic:
- This loving, adventurous family is seeking a proactive, educationally-minded nanny to join their vibrant household and support the growth of their two curious boys, ages 4 and 2. Their home radiates warmth, laughter, and connection, often punctuated by daily dance parties and spontaneous outdoor adventures. Whether hiking, building epic Lego cities, splashing in the pool, or racing monster trucks, these bright and energetic brothers thrive in a world full of play and exploration. With a worldschooling mindset, the nanny will incorporate a couple of hours of experiential learning each day based on the interests of the kids and/or topics and themes presented by the parents. While the family recently welcomed newborn twins, cared for by a dedicated infant team, this role will center on the older boys, offering hands-on, enriching activities that nurture their cognitive, emotional, and social development in dynamic, joy-filled ways.
- Dad works remotely from a dedicated home office, while Mom is currently focused on raising their children, with the potential to take on future projects. They’re excited to partner with a travel-ready nanny who thrives on adventure and finds genuine joy in discovering new places. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, unflappable when plans shift, and confident navigating unfamiliar environments with ease. This fully staffed household includes daytime and nighttime nannies, a housekeeper, and executive assistants, so a collaborative, team-minded nanny who communicates well and enjoys working alongside others will feel right at home. The family thrives on warmth, playfulness, teamwork, and flexibility.
Ideal candidate:
- This role is perfect for a self-motivated, warm, and experienced nanny who brings both curiosity and intentionality to their work with children. A background in education, child development, or worldschooling and a solid understanding of child psychology will be a strong asset in fostering the growth, learning, and emotional well-being of two inquisitive boys. The ideal candidate will see each day as a chance to spark discovery, maintain a no-screen environment and model device-free presence, and create playful, interest-driven learning opportunities that align with the family's values and goals. A proactive team player with a “see-a-need, fill-a-need” approach and a genuine interest in maintaining an organized home environment will be deeply appreciated.
- Primary responsibilities include cultivating a nurturing, engaging environment where the children can thrive. This role also involves child-related household tasks such as preparing meals, tidying and organizing children’s areas, running occasional errands, supporting, coordinating enriching activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
- While not required, the family would be especially excited to partner with a candidate who brings a background in education or child development, has classroom or teaching experience, understands child psychology, and is passionate about play-based learning. Fluency in French or Spanish and/or experience with worldschooling would be a major plus!
