Shenandoah Davis is the owner and Chief Executive Officer of Adventure Nannies, one of the largest and most celebrated agencies in the US known for its innovative approach to childcare placement and commitment to inclusive hiring practices. She is a dynamic entrepreneur and leader who has made a significant impact on the nanny industry over the past ten years.

A sought-after speaker and advisor, Shenandoah serves as an advisor to the International Nanny Association and is a founding board member of Nanny Relief Fund, and has previously held board seats with Entrepreneur’s Organization and the Association of Premier Nanny Agencies. She is also a best-selling author through her contributions to the Lead Like A Woman anthologies. Her private consultancy firm, Invisible Consulting, brings together experts in all fields of business to provide industry-specific insight and professional, confidential consulting in the agency space.

Shenandoah is a conscious capitalist who believes that all businesses have the responsibility to make the world a better place for all of the humans on it. Her adventurous spirit, reflected in both her company's name and her personal life, drives her to explore new horizons and push boundaries.

Shenandoah lives outside of Asheville, North Carolina with her partner and small menagerie of pets. However, you can usually find her on the road, traveling to different cities and countries where her infectious energy, collaborative approach, and unwavering commitment to excellence are a force for positive change in the nanny industry and beyond.

Emily joined the Adventure Nannies team in 2016 to develop and manage the candidate vetting process. She served as the Candidate Director until the end of 2020 when she transitioned to Operations Director.

Emily has served as the co-artistic director for two non-profit theatre organizations, toured as a teaching artist for students K-12, and performed in over a hundred productions across the U.S. Her spare time involves volunteering for urban reforestation programs, serving on the board of a non-profit theatre, learning about organic farming, and practicing the ukulele.

Brandy founded Adventure Nannies after 8 years of working as a travel nanny herself-cliff diving with kids in Italy, farming in Southern France, attending Burning Man, and learning survival skills in the Rocky Mountain wilderness.

These experiences, combined with Brandy's background in education reform and gender studies, led her to create Adventure Nannies. Her passion for active families and dynamic visionary leadership has propelled our agency from its infancy into the high-touch boutique nanny agency it is today.

When Brandy isn't at home with her son and two dogs, she's out on the road with her husband's band, The Lumineers.
