International Nanny Recognition Week is coming up September 20th through 26th, and it’s a chance for families, agencies, and nannies to take a little time to recognize all of the incredible individuals who have chosen nannying as their lifelong career.
As Adventure Nannies gears up for celebrating this special week in full force, we wanted to announce a special giveaway! One winner will be chosen at random and will receive:
- $500 scholarship to a professional development opportunity of their choice
- $100 gift certificate to NannyTees
- a self-care gift box of fancy goodies
- selection of books from the Adventure Nannies staff’s fall reading lists
A special gift will also be sent to whoever nominates the winner!

We also want to acknowledge that this year has been especially challenging for nannies – many have lost their jobs unexpectedly throughout the pandemic, and many are struggling to find work. Nannies who continue to work are finding new responsibilities such as homeschooling, pitching in more around the home, and navigating relationships with their employers as everyone continues to stay home and work from home for the foreseeable future. We were proud to play a role in Nanny Relief Fund’s launch and are donating $1 per entry in this giveaway directly to the Nanny Relief Fund, whose goal is to create tangible support for nannies in times of need and has already given away over $40,000 in need-based grants to nannies throughout the pandemic.
