This warm, outdoorsy two-father family in Aspen is seeking a confident and adventurous nanny to join their loving, dynamic household and provide care for their infants: a 10-week-old daughter and a 4-month-old son.
- Location: Aspen, Colorado
- Ages of children: 10 weeks old and 4 months old
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 50 hours per week, with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday and a flexible half-day on Saturdays. The family will communicate specific weekly working hours in advance. Additional overtime may be available for candidates seeking additional hours.
- Compensation: The family is offering $40-$45/hour based on the 50 hours/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $114k-129k/year range.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-out. An off-site apartment in the heart of Aspen will be provided.

- This warm Aspen-based family of two first-time dads is seeking a nanny to care for and support their transition out of the newborn stage with their 4-month-old son and 10-week-old daughter. Both babies are growing and developing on a well-established routine and are already sleeping eight-hour stretches through the night, something that both parents are incredibly grateful for. The family has been supported by an amazing newborn care specialist since June and is now looking forward to long-term care to help nurture the babies through exciting developmental stages. They often host their brother’s small, friendly dog, but there are no pets in the home regularly.
- This is a dual-career household where both parents are regularly in and out throughout the day, maintaining busy and dynamic professional schedules while being hands-on with their children’s wellness. They used to be professional athletes and still lead an active lifestyle, skiing, snowboarding, biking, and embracing all the outdoors has to offer. While they are primarily based in Colorado, they occasionally spend time in Florida, where they oversee business projects.
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for a confident, experienced, knowledgeable, and professional nanny who brings confidence and experience in caring for multiples through the infant and toddler stage. The family is seeking a candidate who has an attuned, calm, and nurturing presence while caring for their children and who is deeply knowledgeable about the developmental needs and milestones for each child. They value a nanny who has hands-on experience with multiple children or close-in-age infants and will understand the unique needs and priorities required to care for two little ones simultaneously.
- Both parents are laid-back and come and go throughout the day, so someone relaxed and easy-going, who is comfortable with the dynamics of the family’s rhythm, will be a wonderful fit. This is an active, super outdoor-loving family, so someone who loves the outdoors and is excited about mountain-town living will fit right in. The family is eager to work with a candidate who is genuinely interested in becoming a long-term partner in their children’s lives and embraces the spirit of Aspen living for years to come!
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, and coordinating activities.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who is outdoorsy and excited to embrace all that Aspen has to offer. Knowledge and/or experience in skiing would be a huge bonus!
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Experience working with multiples in the infant/toddler age range
- Valid driver’s license
