- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week, with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 1:00pm to 9:00pm.
- Compensation: The family is offering $35-40/hour based on the 40-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $73-$83k/year dependent on experience and the agreed-upon schedule. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience and/or those requiring relocation.

They have recently taken an interest in learning Mandarin. The family has raised their children to respect everyone and believes in children taking responsibility, whether it’s making their beds and preparing their bags for the next day. The family has had wonderful relationships with their past nannies and has built strong bonds with caregivers who brought positive energy and a “big-sibling” dynamic into their lives.

The family will greatly appreciate someone confident and comfortable supporting their children’s homework. A candidate who can meet them where they are while maintaining structure and respectful boundaries will thrive in this role. - Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family assisting duties include family laundry, running errands such as post office runs, managing Amazon returns, doing the dishes, loading the dishwasher, taking out the trash, coordinating vendors, and managing the family calendar.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who speaks a second language or has an interest in languages. They hope to expose their children to different cultures and believe that language can be a meaningful part of that experience.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Comfortability supporting elementary and middle-school-aged children with homework
- Familiarity and comfortability with basic family assisting tasks (including family laundry, tidying up around the home, and meal prep for the kids
- Valid driver's license
- Flexibility to provide occasional overnight coverage if both parents have to be out
