
This vibrant, travel-oriented family is seeking a rotational nanny with homeschool experience to support their joyful toddler with Montessori-aligned, developmentally intentional care at home and while traveling.
- Location: Multiple homes on the East and West Coast
- Ages of children: Toddler
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, rotational schedule of 2 weeks on/2 weeks off with flexibility for rotations to slightly fluctuate around travel schedules. Candidates can expect to work 24/7 on-call availability required during on weeks.
- Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $170k+/year dependent on candidate experience. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
- Benefits: The family will provide full benefits and a vehicle for professional use.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-in while on shift. Candidates will fly-in/fly-out for this role.

- This is a vibrant, on-the-go, loving family with one joyful toddler who is the center of everything they do. They are seeking a rotational nanny (who ideally is fluent in Spanish) to round out their care team and provide thoughtful, developmental support. The child is a healthy, happy toddler who thrives with a calm, highly structured, and confident caregiver. He is not in school yet and won’t be for several more years. Until then, the nanny will be taking the lead in fostering an education-minded, Montessori-aligned learning environment for the child and guiding him during this foundational stage. The candidate will be collaborating with the lead nanny, alternating shifts, and ensuring seamless communication and transition across rotations.

The family travels extensively both domestically and internationally. Both parents are dedicated professionals who, as a family, make an effort to spend time together and are highly involved in their child’s life. The child and nanny accompany them on as many trips as possible. The family appreciates an organized and structured daily caregiving approach.This is a fully-staffed household where everyone operates in support roles.
Ideal Candidate:
- The family is seeking a teacher-first, Montessori-informed educator/nanny who can thoughtfully lead early childhood education during the years before formal schooling. The ideal candidate is polished, professional, travel-savvy, and hands-on, with a strong background in homeschooling, curriculum development, or early childhood education. They approach each day with educational intention, creating learning opportunities that integrate play, daily routines, and travel experiences.
- The candidate should be grounded, emotionally intelligent, and confident, able to take clear ownership of the child’s day-to-day, communicate proactively with parents, and coordinate seamlessly with household staff. They are comfortable collaborating with the lead nanny to design and implement a structured, play-based learning approach.
Key qualities:
- Polished presentation and professional demeanor suitable for frequent travel, professional conferences, and social settings
- Organized, anticipatory, and adaptable
- Collaborative team player able to maintain routine consistency across environments
- Spanish language skills are ideal; French is a secondary preference
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and implementing a Montessori-inspired or homeschool curriculum
- Supporting child’s activities, scheduled outings, and classes
- Coordinating with lead nanny on structured learning and daily schedule
- Child-related household tasks: meal prep, tidying, organizing, wardrobe management, supply procurement, packing/unpacking for travel
- Traveling domestically and internationally with the family as needed
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of full-time professional childcare experience
- Experience being on or on-call for 24 hrs/day in prior ROTA roles
- Montessori certification/training and/or Bachelor's degree in ECE or a child-related field
- Homeschool/private educator experience
- Physically capable of managing travel logistics: strollers, luggage, car seats, carrying a 30 lb child
- Spanish fluency preferred
- Experience traveling extensively in prior roles
- Ability to travel with the family throughout the year
- Experience working in fully-staffed homes
- Able to swim and care for children in water
- Live-in while on duty and live-out while off duty
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport
- Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family
