Household dynamic:

  • This young and growing family of six, soon to be seven, leads a dynamic life filled with various interests, particularly in sports and travel. Their two youngest daughters have distinct personalities: one is organized and focused, while the other is free-spirited and tons of fun. Both are exceptionally kind, smart, and loving. Their 2.5-year-old daughter attends school two days a week, and the family is eagerly preparing to welcome a newborn in January 2026. The family also has two teenage daughters, aged 13 and 16, who are supported by their own afterschool caregivers. The candidate’s role will not involve caring for them. They also have an adorable dog, who is a cherished member of the family.
  • Both parents frequently come and go from their home, where dad works in a dedicated office space. The family leads a fast-paced lifestyle and highly values their privacy. Throughout the year, they divide their time between multiple residences and enjoy frequent travel, particularly during school breaks and for extended summer vacations. They maintain a fully staffed household, employing four housekeepers, a chef, an estate manager, a weekday nanny, and security personnel.

Ideal candidate:

  • This position is ideal for a motivated, competent, driven, and engaging rotational nanny who excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The family is seeking someone with strong experience in providing childcare-focused care and who is excited to support their growing toddlers. The ideal candidate is confident caring for multiple toddler-aged children and comfortable around infants, as the family prepares to welcome their newborn in January. While a newborn care specialist will be primarily responsible for the baby, the family would highly appreciate a proactive candidate who can step in to help whenever needed. A self-motivated and attuned rotational nanny who has the stamina to keep up with the children while being adaptable to the family’s evolving needs and schedule will excel in this role. Their oldest daughter has embraced a Montessori approach, so someone who has familiarity with Montessori and other early childhood educational approaches and is comfortable supporting different learning styles for their children will be highly valued.
  • An on-the-go and supportive presence both at home and while traveling is essential. This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and situational awareness. A true team player who is well-versed in navigating the rhythm of a high-profile, fully-staffed home, working harmoniously with the family and other household members, will be a perfect fit. The family is excited to welcome someone excited to join their team and be a part of their collaborative and organized home!
  • Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional child-related errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. One of the children has a peanut allergy, so maintaining food safety and an allergen-free environment will be key.
  • While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who is comfortable traveling for extended periods and at ease flying privately. The family would love to work with a candidate who can maintain privacy and a high level of discretion.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of professional childcare experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Familiarity with Montessori and/or other alternative educational philosophies
  • Travel nanny experience
  • Experience working in a team or fully-staffed environment
  • Experience working in rotational positions
  • Able to live-in while on-duty and live-out while off-duty
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid passport
  • Dog-friendly
