Multi-Residence | Nurturing Nanny/Family Assistant Wanted For Joyful Toddler

This warm and thoughtful family of three is seeking a nurturing nanny/family assistant to support their joyful 16-month-old daughter with love and care.

• Location: Austin, Texas, and Buena Vista, Colorado
• Ages of children: 16 months old!
• Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40-45 hours per week, with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday between 8am to 5pm with flexibility to shift hours for occasional date night and/or weekend coverage.
• Compensation: The family is offering $40-45/hour based on the 40-45-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $83k - $111k/year range.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend and/or full benefits coverage, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-out in both locations. The family is open to providing a housing stipend and/or housing in either or both locations for candidates who are not local to either area.

The family is also looking forward to adding a baby to the mix and hopes to welcome a supportive presence into their home, nurturing their daughter and offering steady, loving support through this exciting chapter.
• Both parents work from home and value quality time together as a family and a couple, something they have found is best supported by additional care stepping in. The family splits their time between Austin, TX, and the beautiful mountain town of Buena Vista, CO. As they prepare for their newest addition, they expect to be primarily based in Austin over the next 18 months with occasional stretches in Colorado.

Comfort collaborating with stay-at-home and work-from-home parents is essential! While the nanny/family assistant will be primarily responsible for taking care of their growing toddler, the family would love to work with a proactive candidate who can lend a hand, including light newborn care support whenever needed. They value a clean, non/toxic lifestyle, nutrition, and no screen time, and ask that the candidate maintain a fragrance-free presence when caring for their daughter. Someone who can maintain and support this approach will be a perfect fit!

• Childcare responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family assisting duties include running errands, light meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, coordinating vendors, and managing the family calendar.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Valid driver's license
• Previous family assisting experience
• Experience working with toddlers in the last 5 years
• Experience working with stay-at-home/work-from-home parents
• Support and maintain a non-toxic lifestyle and no-screen environment in the home
• Maintain a fragrance-free policy when caring for children
• Must be comfortable working in a home with two dogs
