Household dynamic:
- This warm, hardworking, and joyful Denver family is seeking a nanny to support their two young children! Their boy/girl twins are 2.5 years old, full of curiosity and energy, and at a wonderful stage where play and early learning are beginning to weave together in exciting ways. The twins love exploring, being active, and engaging with the world around them, and the family is intentionally transitioning their care toward an education-through-play model as the children grow. An adorable family dog is also part of the household, and the nanny will be expected to be comfortable around pets and interested in and comfortable with bringing the family dog on walks with the kids around the neighborhood.
- This is a dual-career household where one parent works from home and genuinely loves to be present and involved with the children throughout the day. The family brings a high-energy, hands-on spirit to their weekends and home life, and they are eager to weave outdoor adventures, cooking, hosting, and travel back into their rhythm. They anticipate approximately two to four weeks of travel per year, including family visits and hotel and resort vacations, and hope their nanny will be a natural part of those experiences. The family is looking for someone who will grow alongside their children and become a trusted, long-term member of their collaborative home.
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for a calm, self-confident, bubbly, and education-minded nanny who brings genuine curiosity and structured intention to every day with young children. The right candidate has a natural gift for creating small, meaningful learning moments — someone productive and resourceful who is ready to build a simple curriculum rooted in learning through play, and who finds real joy in watching toddlers discover and grow. The family would love to work with an adaptable, high-energy candidate who can keep up with two curious 2-year-olds while keeping the day anchored in warmth and structure.
- This nanny is autonomous and self-directed, someone who can hit the ground running from day one and manage the children's days with confidence and creativity. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable working alongside an engaged, involved parent who loves to pop in and join the fun. A true partner who embraces collaboration and open communication with the family will thrive in this role. A team-minded spirit, an engaging presence, and a genuine enthusiasm for the family's active and adventurous lifestyle will make this candidate feel right at home.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, incorporating education-through-play activities and age-appropriate learning moments into the daily routine, and child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep for the children, tidying, organizing children's areas, occasional errands, and coordinating activities.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who speaks Spanish, has twins/triplets/high-order multiples, family assisting or household management experience, comfort preparing meals for the entire family, and has a reliable car to use for work. Experience or familiarity with a specific educational philosophy such as Montessori, Waldorf, or another approach will be a huge plus!
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Valid driver's license
- Pet-friendly! Willing to provide light pet care
- Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family
