Household dynamic:

  • This is a vibrant, on-the-go, loving family with one incredible toddler who is the center of everything they do. They are seeking a rotational nanny to round out their care team and provide thoughtful, developmental support. Their 2-year-old is a joyful and amazing little one. He has some occasional sleep challenges, often related to the family’s travel schedule, but ‌overall is a happy toddler who thrives with a calm, confident, and highly structured caregiver. He is not in school yet and will not be enrolled for several more years. Until then, the nanny will be taking the lead in fostering an education-minded, Montessori-aligned learning environment for the child and guiding him during this foundational stage. The candidate will be collaborating with the family’s lead nanny, alternating shifts, and ensuring ‌seamless communication and transition across rotations.
  • This is a grounded and collaborative household where the family values the nanny team’s insights and trusts them to bring structure, developmental understanding, and emotionally attuned care to both the child and the household’s day-to-day rhythm. The family is primarily based in southeast Florida, but spends significant time in Los Angeles and New York, in addition to frequent travel both domestically and internationally. Both parents are dedicated professionals who are always on the road, but as a family, they make an effort to spend time together and are highly involved in their child’s life. The child and nanny accompany them on as many trips as possible, which include both domestic and international travel. One parent highly appreciates an organized and structured daily caregiving approach, while the other parent brings a more relaxed energy to their home. This is a fully-staffed household where everyone operates in support roles.

Ideal candidate:

  • This position is ideal for a seasoned, travel-savvy, sophisticated, hands-on, professional rotational nanny who brings a strong background and experience in Montessori learning and early childhood education. The family is seeking a nanny who has a calm, confident presence and can thoughtfully guide parents through the child’s learning and development process, in a firm yet kind approach. They are hoping to welcome a candidate with a teacher’s mindset and approaches each day with educational intention, creating learning opportunities and supporting their child’s cognitive, emotional, and social development. The rotational nanny will be responsible for supporting the children’s activities and scheduled outings, and creating a structured learning or Montessori-inspired curriculum.
  • The ideal candidate is grounded, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable taking clear ownership of their child’s day-to-day. The role is ideal for an experienced rotational nanny who thrives in a child-centered environment and has confidence in taking the lead day-to-day, communicating proactively with parents, and confidently coordinating with household staff to ensure seamless care. An organized, adaptable candidate who can maintain routine consistency across environments will be a great addition to their team. Experience and comfort traveling with families is essential! The family would love to work with a candidate who can provide high-quality, consistent care and support at home and on the road. The rotational nanny will be responsible for managing luggage/equipment logistics, packing and unpacking, and facilitating age-appropriate educational activities.  Someone who is genuinely happy, warm, and positive while maintaining clear professional boundaries and able to remain grounded in a dynamic environment will be highly valued. A team player who can collaborate with both the family, lead nanny, and other household staff will thrive in this team-minded, dynamic home.
  • Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. The candidate will also be responsible for taking the child to classes, activities, and scheduled outings, and creating curriculum or structured learning in coordination with the lead nanny. Someone with a strong background and familiarity with Montessori and open to collaborative curriculum planning will be a wonderful fit.
  • While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who speaks Spanish and has demonstrated their passion and seriousness for the industry through relevant professional training and continuing education.
