Omaha, NE | Self-Confident ROTA Nanny Wanted For Intentional Family

This grounded, organized family in Omaha, NE is seeking a warm, engaging rotational nanny to provide dedicated, learning-oriented care for their inquisitive two young children.

• Location: Omaha, NE. The family has additional homes in Texas, the Cayman Islands, and Canada
• Ages of children: Almost 4 and 2 years old
• Start date: October 1st, 2026 (late September also possible)
• Schedule: Full-time rotational schedule of 1 week on/1 week off. Candidates can expect to work between the hours of 7am and 7pm. Flexibility for evenings, travel, and occasional overnight shifts during the rotation will be key for the right candidate!
• Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $110-120k/year dependent on candidate experience. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, matching 401k contributions, relocation assistance, and flights for candidates to and from their rotations.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-in while on rotation, live-out while off rotation.
• Other Notes: While the family is open to candidates who fly in and out for their rotations, they strongly prefer direct, non-stop flight routes.

• This professional, grounded, and intentional Omaha-based family is seeking a rotational nanny to join their household team and support their two young children! Their curious children are an almost 4-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy, and both attend Montessori preschool in the mornings. Their daughter is highly inquisitive with a real thirst for knowledge, so rotating playroom decor, monthly themes and topics, and enriching outings are a wonderful part of their days. The family is truly committed to prioritizing their children’s wellbeing and respecting them as capable individuals, while also trusting their caregivers’ expertise in nurturing and supporting the children to thrive.
• Both parents come from corporate backgrounds and run their household in a professional manner. This is a down-to-earth household that values a healthy lifestyle across food, wellness, and environment, and wants a caregiver who genuinely embodies that. The rotational nanny will work alongside the family’s collaborative team that includes a housekeeper, a chef, and additional rotational nannies. Beyond their primary residence, the family maintains homes in Nebraska, Texas, the Cayman Islands, and Canada, and spends time on their yacht several times throughout the year, so global travel is a regular rhythm. The family’s goal is to raise grounded, empathetic, and self-reliant children, and they hope to find a long-term partner who can support that and grow alongside their family.

• As a fully staffed household with frequent travel across multiple residences and time on the water, the family is looking for an adaptable candidate who communicates well, collaborates easily within a team, and can naturally navigate a multi-home, travel-forward rhythm. • Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children's areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities and rotating enrichment themes, packing for travel and relocations, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
• While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who has experience or familiarity with Montessori or RIE, a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a child- or education-related field, a strong swimming background, and familiarity with fostering an independent, low-stimulation environment

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Valid driver's license
• Valid passport
• Family assisting experience
• Travel experience
• Able to swim and care for children in and around water
• Experience working in a team or fully staffed environment
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Passion for education
• Ability to live-in while on rotation, live-out while off rotation
• Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family
