• Start date: August 1, 2026
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 42.5 hours per week, with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Compensation: The family is offering $45-50/hour based on the 42.5-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation in the $102,375-$113,750 range.

• This warm, down-to-earth, and globally minded family is seeking a nanny for their cheerful, affectionate, and curious 16-month-old son. Their son is an active and social toddler who loves playground adventures, vehicles of all kinds, books, music, spending time outdoors, and interacting with other children. As the first grandchild on both sides of the family, he has enjoyed a wonderful support system from his grandparents, who have lovingly helped with childcare during his first year. With a baby arriving in December and both parents working full-time in demanding careers, the family is excited to transition their son thoughtfully into dedicated care before his younger sibling arrives.
• The family fosters a loving, grounded home and prides themselves on embracing a warm and attentive environment. One parent works from home in a separate home office. They value creating a loving, emotionally responsive home environment over following any single parenting philosophy and hope to welcome a nanny who shares that flexible, child-led approach. Travel is not expected at this time. When their second child is older, responsibilities may gradually expand to include both children. A newborn care specialist (NCS) or postpartum doula will also support the family during the baby's early months.

• This position is ideal for a gentle, grounded, and down-to-earth nanny who is warm, emotionally available, and responsive, and is excited to care for a curious toddler. The family values someone who brings a strong understanding and experience of child development while taking a flexible, child-centered approach rather than adhering to one specific childcare philosophy. They hope to find a present, engaging, and perceptive nanny who enjoys meeting children where they are, encouraging their son’s natural curiosity, following his interests, and fostering his confidence through meaningful play, exploration, and connection. The right candidate will also be comfortable working collaboratively with parents, particularly during the early months after their youngest arrives when Mom will be home with additional newborn support. Above all, they are looking for someone who will become a reliable, nurturing, and long-term presence in his life.
• Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, and child-related household tasks including but not limited to child meal prep, kids' laundry, organizing and tidying children’s area, and coordinating activities
• While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who is advanced in German or Serbian. The family also speaks German and Serbian at home and is looking for a nanny who can assist with language immersion.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for toddlers
• Valid driver's license
