This vibrant family of five in Washington, DC is seeking a nurturing nanny to provide holistic care and support for their three young children.

• Location: Washington, DC
• Ages of children: 4 years old, 2.5 years old, and 10 months old
• Start date: As soon as they find the right fit! 
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 60 hours/week, with the general schedule falling between 7am - 7pm on 5 consecutive days per week. Flexibility to work overnights will be asked in advance and appreciated. 
• Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $140k/year range. 
• Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
• Live-in/Live-out: Flexibility to live in, if needed.

Household dynamic: 

• This vibrant, dynamic family of five recently relocated from London to Washington, DC, and is seeking a rotational nanny to join their household team in creating a fun and nurturing environment for their children. With three children, ages 4, 2.5, and 10 months old, the candidate will provide wrap-around care that supports each child’s growth and development. Their youngest is currently cared for by a newborn care specialist who will be transitioning out of the role in mid-October. Rounding out this loving home is their adorable dog. 
• This is a dual-career household where Mom works from home with a flexible schedule, while Dad travels frequently for work. The family regularly travels to their second home in New York and takes international trips over the holidays to see family. This is a vibrant family who loves hosting and creating a happy, close-knit atmosphere in their home. They are supported by two housekeepers who have been jumping in to support with childcare as well, a driver, and a family assistant.

• This position is ideal for a warm, intuitive, and nurturing rotational nanny who can naturally connect with the children and create a safe, fun, and loving environment for them to thrive! The perfect candidate is loving and attentive with the children, ensuring each child is holistically supported and cared for. A proactive, trustworthy, dependable rotational nanny who can provide well-rounded care, including supporting their youngest's early developmental milestones while integrating him into the family’s daily rhythm. Adaptability and emotional intelligence are essential in this role! The right candidate will understand and respect that Mom is highly involved with the children, but also deeply values reliable support. A true partner who can easily navigate the family’s dynamics, who is eager to collaborate with the family and other household members, will be a perfect fit. 
• Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
• While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who speaks a second language, particularly French, Spanish, or Italian.

Qualifications: 

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Experience working with teams / fully-staffed households
• Ability to swim and care for children around water
• Valid driver's license
• Valid passport
• Dog-friendly
