- Compensation: The family is offering $35-40/hour based on the 45-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $86,450-$98,800k/year range. The family may be open to a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.

- This joyful and loving family in Winter Park, Florida, is seeking a nanny/family assistant to help manage the household and care for three healthy, thriving children ages 5 to 1.5 years old. The oldest daughter attends school during the week, and their 3.5-year-old daughter will begin attending the same school in the fall and is currently doing homeschool coursework at home 2-3 days per week. The youngest, at 1.5 years old, is not in school and is enrolled in a few fun enrichment classes, including music, gym, and soccer. Based in a charming town full of lakes, days at home are active, engaging, and fun, filled with outings and enriching experiences such as trips to the Disney Theme Parks, Orlando Science Center, local parks, the library, our swim and racquet club, and other classes, including ballet, music, and tennis. They are currently supported by a full-time nanny, who will be relocating and transitioning out of the role.
- Dad works outside the home, while Mom is currently not working and will be home for the next couple of years. Both parents love to encourage kids being kids and foster a sweet, loving household. Mom and the nanny/family assistant will work closely together in a true tag-team dynamic, diving and conquering throughout the day. The role includes a mix of shared care and sole-charge time. Some days may be primarily focused on childcare, while others may include a balance of family assisting tasks. The family enjoys spending quality family time and has a strong routine with some flexibility, and would love someone who can support this structure. They value setting clear expectations, loving discipline, and ensuring kids have good manners and are respectful to everyone. As a Christian household, faith and church are an important part of their lives. The family prays at dinner and goes to Church weekly. Travel is minimal to moderate throughout the year, with the possibility of joining the family for a few weeks away during the summer, typically in July. The family is seeking a nanny/family assistant who values connection, activity, and becoming an integral part of a kind and welcoming family.

A candidate who is also comfortable interacting with the children’s grandparents, who live nearby and occasionally help pick up the kids for outings, will be a great fit.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to jump in wherever needed, whether it's tidying a playroom, prepping school lunches, or heading out for a fun morning at the park, are essential in this role. The right candidate will enjoy creating meaningful connections with the family, value respectful communication, and approach discipline with kindness and consistency. They should be comfortable and respectful working in a Christian household and be excited about becoming an integral part of a kind, close-knit family for years to come.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, planning fun and stimulating at-home activities and adventures, coordinating outdoor activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family-assisting duties include running errands, light meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, coordinating vendors, and managing the family calendar.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Comfortable working collaboratively with mom
- Flexible to support family assisting tasks
- Comfortable working in a Christian household
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport
- Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family
