This fun, adventurous, and warm family in Boston, MA is seeking a loving, independent, and engaged nanny to foster their children’s development and growing independence.

• Location: Back Bay, Boston, MA
• Ages of children: 1 and 2.5 years old
• Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 50 hours per week, with the general schedule falling Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Compensation: The family is offering 45–50/hour based on the 50-hour-per-week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of approximately 128k-143k/year dependent on experience and the agreed-upon schedule. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing PTO, a healthcare stipend, dental insurance, relocation assistance, a public transportation pass, and a housing stipend.
• Live-in/Live-out: Open to live-in or live-out. A private bedroom and bathroom are provided on-site. If a live-out arrangement is preferred, these accommodations can also serve as a temporary landing pad while securing local off-site housing

• This fun, active, and loving family has two outgoing young children, a 2.5-year-old boy and a 1-year-old girl, and is seeking a nanny to support their growth and development. Their son attends Montessori school five mornings per week. At home, the Montessori values strongly resonate with the parents’ approach. They value fostering independence and autonomy while remaining closely attuned to each child’s developmental stage, interests, and safety. Both children are social, curious, and wonderfully fearless, and the family hopes their nanny will embrace that energy through classes, outings, play, and adventures around Boston. They especially appreciate a caregiver who notices what sparks each child’s curiosity and builds upon it — a previous nanny recognized their son’s love of music and introduced him to a little ukulele, which quickly became a favorite!
• Both parents have demanding professional schedules and work primarily outside the home, with one parent traveling frequently. Extended family does not live locally, although grandparents visit from time to time. The household employs a full-time housekeeper, creating a collaborative, team-oriented home. The family loves family adventures around the city and enjoys occasional summer travel to Maine or Cape Cod. They are looking for a warm, structured, engaged caregiver to represent their values with their children when they are away and to join their loving family for years to come,

The family is looking for someone independent, autonomous, motivated, perceptive, and highly engaged in the children’s development. Their ideal nanny understands and appreciates a Montessori-aligned approach to care -encouraging age-appropriate independence, observing what captures each child’s interest, remaining deeply attuned to development milestones, and confidently giving the children safe and appropriate space to explore. With two outgoing little ones, the nanny should bring warm and positive energy to the day, be excited to plan enriching activities, outdoor time, and adventures around Boston, and respond to each child’s individual interests and developmental stage. A candidate who collaborates well within a team-oriented household and who is excited to grow into a long-term relationship with the family will thrive here.
• Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children's areas, children's laundry, occasional errands, before and after school routines including school drop-off and pick-up, and coordinating activities and outings around Boston. Traveling is not required, but someone open to traveling with them will be appreciated.
• While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who has travel experience and experience or familiarity with Montessori.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for infants and toddlers
• Experience with multiple children
• Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family
