This private, loving, family-oriented Coral Gables, FL family is seeking a kind, professional, and collaborative nanny/family assistant to provide present, engaging care for their son and be a trusted member of their household.
- Location: Coral Gables, Florida
- Ages of children: 5 months old
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday. The family is flexible and open to various schedule options. Currently they envision 9am to 5pm or 1pm to 9pm or similar. The family will appreciate a candidate who can be flexible to adjust the schedule with advanced notice.
- Compensation: The family is offering $45-55/hour based on the 40-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $93,600-$114,400/year dependent on experience and the agreed-upon schedule. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.

Household dynamic:
- These loving, first-time parents are looking for an experienced infant and toddler nanny/family assistant who will become a trusted member of their household’s support system. Mom enjoys spending much of her day with her son and plans to remain actively involved in his care, while Dad works primarily outside of the home.This role is designed to support Mom during this special season, blending attentive childcare with proactive household assistance so she can continue enjoying meaningful time with her son while knowing the household is running smoothly. They anticipate about 60% of the role will be dedicated to childcare and 40% to family assistance. The family also has two friendly cats!.
- This is a private and family-oriented home. The family values professionalism, discretion, clear communication, mutual respect, and a true team mindset. Willingness to travel is part of the role. They take one or two family vacations per year, and sometimes accompany dad on work trips. As their son grows, the family hopes to travel domestically and internationally and would love to welcome someone eager to join them. They would love to welcome someone excited to grow with their family for years to come.

- Responsibilities include creating a warm, engaging environment where the child can grow and thrive through developmentally appropriate activities such as reading, music and singing, sensory and creative play, outdoor exploration, and age-appropriate outings. Child-related household responsibilities include meal preparation, baby laundry, nursery and toy organization, bottle and pump-part washing, cleaning the child’s dishes, toy rotation, and maintaining tidy, well-organized child spaces. Family assisting responsibilities include maintaining overall home organization and household inventory; running errands such as grocery shopping and package returns; identifying, contacting, and coordinating household vendors such as pool, lawn, and vehicle services; hiring and managing the housekeeper; supporting holiday décor setup and takedown; and traveling with the family throughout the year.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who has an early childhood education background or related coursework, familiarity with Montessori, RIE, or similar child-led philosophy, experience supporting high-profile or private households, family-assisting, and light cooking or meal preparation.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Strong knowledge and experience working with infants and supporting age-appropriate developmental milestones and activities
- Previous family assisting experience is not required, but the candidate must be willing and excited to support these tasks
- Must be comfortable working with a highly involved, hands-on parents
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Valid passport
- Travel experience
- Ability to swim/care for children in water
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using Google and basic internet search functions to locate information, products, or services.
- Comfortable with pre-employment and random drug screening tests throughout employment in accordance with applicable law
- Able to actively and safely engage in physical childcare duties and light household tasks
- Cat-friendly and willing to provide light pet care
- Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family
