This family-oriented and organized family is seeking an adaptable and intentional nanny for either a traditional or ROTA schedule, supporting their two curious and energetic boys.

• Location: Miami Beach, Florida
• Ages of children: 4 and 2 years old 
• Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: The family is open to either a traditional or ROTA schedule, based on candidate preference:  
  
  • Full-time, guaranteeing 60 hours per week, with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 6/7am to 6/7pm. Flexibility for evenings, travel, and occasional overnight coverage will be key for the right candidate. 
  • Full-time, rotational schedule of 1 week on/1 week off. Candidates can expect to work between the hours of 6/7am and 6/7pm. The family will communicate about specific hours in advance. Flexibility for evenings, travel, and occasional overnight shifts during the rotation will be key for the right candidate! 
• Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $115k-130k/year, dependent on candidate experience. 
• Benefits: The family is open to providing health insurance and/or a health insurance stipend, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-in. A private bedroom and bathroom will be provided. For the rotational schedule, live-in while on duty and live-out while off duty. 
• Other notes: The family is highly prioritizing local candidates.

Their two boys, ages 4 and 2, are very active and love to be outdoors - running and scooting around. Their oldest son will begin full-time preschool this fall, while their youngest has art, music, and swimming classes for a few hours each morning. The family leads a fun, busy lifestyle and places a strong emphasis on creating a positive, joyful environment where their children can learn, grow, and thrive. They are seeking an adaptable, imaginative, upbeat nanny with a wonderful sense of humor to join in on the adventure. The nanny will play an integral role in supporting the children's daily routines, fostering their development, planning engaging activities, and creating a nurturing, enriching environment. The family also shares their home with a friendly and gentle dog, so comfort around dogs is essential.
• This supportive and family-oriented household is led by two highly involved parents who take a hands-on approach to raising their children. Mom works from home and is available most of the time, while Dad works outside the home. The family enjoys an adventurous, well-traveled lifestyle, spending summers in New York, occasionally visiting the United Kingdom, and frequently traveling throughout Europe and Switzerland during the holiday season. They also enjoy the flexibility to take on spontaneous trips throughout the year. The family is deeply committed to maintaining a wellness-focused lifestyle and strives to create a healthy environment for their children. They prioritize organic foods, low-toxicity household products, less plastic usage, and thoughtful choices throughout the home, from the products they use to their limited-screen-time philosophy - a maximum of 20 minutes of screen time if really needed. They prefer fragrance-free and low-toxicity cleaning and personal care products and kindly ask household staff to avoid wearing perfume or heavily scented products while working. The family is happy to provide fragrance-free alternatives if desired. They emphasize active engagement, outdoor exploration, creativity, and meaningful connection over screen-based entertainment. The household is additionally supported by a housekeeper and maintenance manager, as well as a long-term nanny who is transitioning out of the role due to a family emergency. The family is eager to welcome a nanny who will become a trusted partner in actively supporting their children in a conscious, healthy home atmosphere.

• Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after-school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Someone happy to jump in and assist with family-assisting tasks will be a plus! 
• The family is seeking a nanny who is a competent cook and can prepare a range of healthy meals for the children.

Qualifications: 

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for toddlers and early elementary-aged children
• Valid driver's license
• Valid passport
• Travel experience
• Competent cook who can prepare a range of healthy meals for the children
• Able to maintain a fragrance-free home environment
• Able to maintain a screen-free environment around the children
• Dog friendly
• For the rotational schedule, able to live-in while on duty and live-out while off duty 
• Able to swim and care for children in water is a plus
• Spanish-speaking is a plus
• Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family
