- Ages of children: 3 years old and 1 year old

- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 60 hours per week, with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 7:00pm.

Household dynamic:
- This engaged, travel-oriented family is seeking a nanny/family assistant to support their dynamic household and care for their two young toddlers. Their 3-year-old son is bright and very active and delights in being in playgrounds, at the beach, farmers' markets, reading books, playing games, and doing arts & crafts. Their 1-year-old daughter is sweet, affectionate, and becoming increasingly mobile. She’s a true Mama’s girl who enjoys her daily walks and exploring the park. Currently, the children are cared for by their nanny, who plans to transition out of the role in three weeks. The family is hoping to work with a candidate who can create a warm, friendly environment for their children while also assisting in maintaining an organized home.
- Dad works from home in a separate office space, and Mom is a full-time, hands-on parent. Both parents are very involved and foster a collaborative environment where they are in and out throughout the day. The family lives a fast-paced, multi-residence lifestyle. Right now, the family is in California through mid-May, then heading to Nashville in June, followed by some time in New York, before settling in Miami, which will be the family’s home base and where their son will attend school beginning in the fall. They travel frequently, often taking a month, usually to one of their residence. The household is supported by a weekly housekeeper.
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for a fun, professional, confident, and organized nanny/family assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, travel-oriented household and loves being a hands-on presence in children’s lives. The family works best with someone who is not timid about being themselves but can also take direction well and collaborate comfortably with hands-on parents. They value a friendly, nurturing presence, someone who can keep up with both children without being authoritative. Their eldest is bright and spirited, but he occasionally gets emotionally deregulated, so a calm, perceptive, and grounded nanny/family assistant who can gently guide him through his emotions and big feelings will be highly appreciated. They would love to work with a health-conscious, intellectual, and curious nanny who can nurture the children’s growth and development.
- Travel is a significant aspect of the family’s lifestyle. They are looking for someone who is travel-ready, adaptable, and excited to support the family's transitions between homes while providing structure and consistency for the children. The family values a proactive, resourceful nanny/family assistant who can anticipate their needs and offer a steady support while handling the family’s moving pieces. They are excited to welcome a candidate who brings an engaging, warm personality and embodies professionalism and true partnership in their team-oriented and loving home.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family assisting duties include running errands, light meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, tidying up common areas, taking out the garbage, coordinating vendors, and managing the family calendar.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who speaks Spanish.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Ability to travel with the family throughout the year
- Valid driver's license
- Valid passport
- Able to swim and care for children in water
- Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family
