Household dynamic:

  • This kind and fun-loving return Adventure Nannies family is seeking an experienced short-term rotational nanny/family assistant to join them for a 3-4 month contract! Their almost 3-year-old is a bundle of joy and is described by his family as silly, goofy, and affectionate, and he LOVES to be outside. At fifteen months old, their daughter is easygoing with a calm temperament. They are eager to work with a candidate who loves spending time outdoors, both at home and while traveling. Someone who can integrate outdoor play and activities while fostering their growth and development will be a perfect fit! The family also has two dogs who may need the occasional belly rub. Someone comfortable with dogs is essential.
  • These dual-career parents have busy schedules that include very frequent travel. They look forward to working with a nanny who is on the go and is eager to join the family adventures! They spend a lot of time in Florida and Massachusetts, and typically take one international trip per year. This family values open communication and always wants to ensure their team is comfortable and happy working in their home. With many moving pieces, the household values keeping things as organized as possible with additional support from a personal assistant, an additional rotational nanny, and a part-time housekeeper.

Ideal candidate:

  • This position is ideal for a rotational career nanny/family assistant who is excited about supporting and nurturing two adorable toddlers! A candidate with a strong understanding of developmental milestones for infants and toddlers will be a wonderful addition. The family will appreciate working with a candidate who can anticipate needs and has a pitch-in mentality when it comes to keeping the household running smoothly. A candidate who can read the room and know when to step in and out with the kids will be valued. The family is excited to work with someone who will be excited to nurture their children’s interests, be engaging and educationally-minded, and be silly and have fun with them! A candidate who understands the value of hand washing to keep sick bugs at bay (as much as possible) will be appreciated!
  • Responsibilities include being a proactive, supportive childcare provider! A candidate who can assist with light child-related tidying and meal prep, packing and unpacking, planning engaging activities, and being a collaborative, warm person to have around will be a perfect fit. The children are always the #1 priority, but when the need arises, the family would appreciate additional support with dishes and full family laundry.
  • While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who speaks Spanish, has a Bachelor’s degree, or has experience working on a team.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional childcare experience
  • Able to prepare meals for children
  • Valid driver’s license and passport
  • Able to live-in while on duty and live-out while off duty
  • Travel experience (personal or travel nanny experience)
  • Ability to swim and care for children in and around water
  • Dog-friendly and able to provide occasional pet care for two labradors
  • Willing to assist with household duties like laundry and dishes
