This warm and calm Kentfield, CA family is seeking a nurturing and confident nanny to support their sweet 4-month-old son.
- Location: Kent Woodlands, Kentfield, CA
- Ages of children: 4 months old
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit! The family is open to a later start date if desired by a candidate.
- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 50 hours per week, with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. Flexibility to travel and assist with occasional date nights and weekend needs will be appreciated.
- Compensation: The family is offering $38-42/hour based on the 50+ hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $108-120k/year range. The family may be open to a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, housing assistance, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
- Live-in/Live-out: Preference for live-out, but open to live-in. The family is open to providing a housing stipend and live-in accommodations for the right candidate.

- The family lives in a funky, sun-lit home in a beautiful neighborhood in Marin. Both parents have busy work lives and primarily work in the office, except on Fridays when one parent works from home in a separate workspace. They enjoy traveling for a few weeks throughout the year, going to New York to visit friends and spending time in France. Aspen is their favorite spot for regular getaways! Someone adaptable and travel-ready who is excited to join them in their family adventures will be a perfect fit. At home, the family seeks to foster a supportive and respectful environment where each household member feels like a valued member of the team.
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for a warm, intuitive, and confident nanny who genuinely enjoys nurturing and supporting an adorable baby! Someone who is organized and thrives in a structured environment where routines are valued, particularly following consistent feeding and nap schedules, will be a perfect fit. A proactive and supportive candidate who can anticipate the child’s needs with ease and care and thoughtfully guide their child through developmental stages and transitions will be key! Clear and open communication about their child’s needs, milestones, and developmental updates is important to them. They hope to welcome a candidate who is eager to partner with their family for years to come.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing the child’s areas, occasional errands, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who speaks a second language and/or is open to assisting with minor household tasks or errands.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for the infant through the toddler age range
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport
- Flexibility to travel occasionally with the family
- Comfortable preparing basic meals for the child
- Ability to swim and comfortability caring for children in and near water
- Fully vaccinated and boosted (when eligible) against COVID-19 prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws
