  • Family is everything in this kind, simple, and loving home. The family leads a grounded, intentional lifestyle and prioritizes privacy, discretion, and simplicity in their day-to-day lives. They are an intentionally unstaffed household who values and appreciates cleaning up after themselves and are focused on being present and creating a calm, warm, and nurturing environment where their 1-year-old daughter can grow and develop with the care and support of their nanny team, as well as two very present and devoted parents! They deeply value education, kindness, music, reading, and play-based learning. Their home also includes one adorable, very small, hypoallergenic dog.

The family loves to travel with friends and enjoys frequent short visits to NYC, trips to the Caribbean during winter holidays, and summer getaways in Europe.  Discretion and privacy are of utmost importance and key to supporting this family, both at home and on the go. Currently, they are supported by another rotational Adventure Nanny who has been with them since their daughter was a newborn, and the family is looking forward to finding a long-term partner who can ensure seamless transitions and strong, collaborative support, both in Texas and while the family travels.

Ideal candidate:

  • This position is ideal for a warm, down-to-earth, grounded rotational nanny with high emotional intelligence and a heart for their work. The family is seeking a true career professional who is deeply dedicated to this field and will genuinely care for their daughter and actively support her growth milestones and toddler routines. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating an educationally-minded environment for their daughter and is self-directed in fostering intellectual, social, and physical development, managing behaviors, and preparing healthy meals. Experience supporting toddlers’ development and caring for multiple children is important.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine understanding of ROTA dynamics are essential. The family values an adaptable teammate who works in perfect sync with their other rotational nanny, maintaining open communication regarding off-shift travel plans so the household always has backup visibility. A candidate who exudes patience, warmth, and kindness and can easily shift into toddler mode will be a great fit. The right candidate will have experience traveling with families, confidently handling all child-related tasks independently while seamlessly pitching in alongside the parents during outings. This role requires a high-energy individual who is comfortable independently managing travel logistics and physical tasks—including lifting heavy bags into overhead bins, carrying a heavy stroller and child upstairs simultaneously, and going on long walks. Above all, the family is seeking someone with high emotional intelligence, discretion, and healthy professional boundaries who can be deeply trusted in their home. A grounded demeanor is key for navigating a range of environments with ease, whether relaxing in their suburban home, joining the family in public settings, or supporting them in high-profile, ultra-high-net-worth spaces. The role will be ideal for a candidate who generally knows what the suburbs and Texas are like.
  • Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, daily routines, coordinating activities with mom, researching child-related activities and supplies, preparing rotational hand-off notes, and traveling with the family throughout the year. This is not a fully-staffed home. This person must be a steady, all-hands-on-deck team player with a natural pitch-in attitude who will happily jump in to help keep the home running smoothly. A detail-oriented mindset when it comes to supporting light housekeeping in shared areas and pet care will be key.
  • While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who speaks Mandarin or a second language, holds a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a child or education-related field, has experience caring for multiple children, and has or is willing to apply for Global Entry.

  • Travel experience
  • Dog-friendly and willing to support light pet care
  • Able to swim and care for children in water
