Household dynamic:

  • These artistic, global-minded first-time parents are embracing the joys of life with their 4-month-old daughter and are seeking a German-speaking rotational nanny to join them. The family values creativity, curiosity, and a calm, nurturing environment where their child can flourish. They are excited to provide their child with meaningful German language immersion from infancy and are seeking a German-speaking rotational nanny who will naturally incorporate the language into everyday interactions and routines. They also share their home with their two cats, so candidates should be comfortable working around them.
  • Both parents have flexible work schedules and split their time between home and work commitments. Dad primarily works from a dedicated home office, while Mom balances meetings from home with time spent at her art studio. The family leads a spontaneous lifestyle and anticipates traveling approximately 4-8 weeks throughout the year. They employ a newborn care specialist, household manager, housekeeper, and cook, allowing the rotational nanny to focus primarily on providing exceptional childcare and child-related responsibilities while serving as a trusted partner in their child's early development.

Ideal candidate:

  • This family is seeking a warm, engaging, and experienced German-speaking rotational nanny who brings confidence, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit to their work. The ideal candidate naturally creates a vibrant, language-rich environment through conversation, songs, play, and everyday routines in German while thoughtfully supporting infant development. A confident professional who works independently yet values being part of a collaborative household team will be a perfect fit! The right candidate enjoys partnering with parents, is receptive to the family's parenting philosophy, and adapts their approach to meet each child's unique needs rather than relying on one philosophy. This position is ideal for someone passionate about fostering infant development through attuned caregiving and language immersion, and who values building a collaborative partnership with parents.
  • Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.

  • Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family
