Tampa, FL | Warm Spanish-Speaking Nanny Wanted For Structured Family

This bilingual Tampa-based family is seeking an experienced, education-minded Spanish-speaking nanny to join their established household team, care for their three children, and support their academic, behavior, and developmental growth.

• Location: Tampa, Florida
• Ages of children: 10, 8, and 5 years old
• Start date/Contract dates: As soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week. The schedule includes morning coverage, administrative time or scheduled time off while the children are in school, and afternoon coverage shared with a co-nanny until approximately 5pm-6pm. Two Saturdays per month are required as part of the shared coverage and will be paid in addition to the regular schedule, as applicable. Flexibility for occasional early mornings, evenings, overnights, and extended childcare is required based on family needs. Travel with the family is required for up to 10 calendar weeks per year during summers, school holidays, and domestic/international trips, with seven-day-a-week availability, including evenings, during travel weeks.
• Compensation: The family is offering $53-$55 hourly and an overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $125k–$130k/year, dependent on candidate experience and the agreed-upon schedule.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 14 days of paid time off, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
• Live-in/Live-out: Live-out. Candidates must ultimately reside locally in the Tampa area. For a relocating candidate, the family is open to providing temporary housing for up to 60 days while the candidate establishes permanent local housing. A secondary office space near the main home is available for administrative work during admin hours.

• This warm, dynamic Tampa-based family is seeking an experienced Spanish-speaking nanny with a strong educational and developmental background to join their household team and provide loving, structured, and developmentally thoughtful care for their three children, ages 10, 8, and 5. They are looking for an exceptional career nanny who brings a nurturing presence alongside the structure, academic focus, developmental awareness, and behavioral insight of a governess. The children are bright, spirited, and active, with busy schedules that include academics, tutoring, music, swimming, Kumon, Girl Scouts, and behavioral support services. They thrive with consistency, individualized attention, and a caregiver who can calmly navigate sibling dynamics, transitions, emotional regulation, and occasional challenging behaviors while maintaining loving and appropriate boundaries. While the nanny will support all three children and work collaboratively with a co-nanny, this role will serve as the primary nanny point person for their youngest child with specialized ownership of her behavioral, therapeutic, and educational continuity. The family is proudly bilingual and places tremendous importance on maintaining the children's Spanish fluency and connection to the language. The nanny will provide daily language immersion through fluent communication and instruction, communicating with the children exclusively in Spanish throughout the day, including when the children respond in English. The family also has two cats in the home, so candidates must be comfortable working around cats. No routine pet-care responsibilities are required.
• Both parents maintain demanding professional careers and are highly involved with their children while moving in and out of the home throughout the day. The household has an established support system, including a House Manager/Family Coordinator and Domestic Chief of Staff, another full-time career nanny, and additional household support. The Development & Enrichment Nanny will work closely with the parents, household leadership, co-nanny, educators, tutors, behavioral providers, and other caregivers to maintain consistency in the children's routines, behavioral expectations, developmental goals, academics, and Spanish-language immersion. The family travels domestically and internationally during school holidays and summers, with up to approximately 10 calendar weeks of travel anticipated annually. Ideal candidate:

• This position is ideal for a warm, adaptable, resourceful, and highly structured Spanish-speaking career nanny who genuinely enjoys helping children grow into capable and independent young people. The ideal candidate combines hands-on care with academic, developmental, and organizational responsibilities. A candidate with a strong educational foundation, along with meaningful professional experience supporting neurodivergent children and/or children with behavioral, developmental, or learning differences, will be a wonderful fit for the role. The family values a traditional parenting approach centered on clear expectations, consistency, accountability, respectful communication, and firm but loving boundaries and is looking for a nanny who can confidently reinforce these expectations while remaining patient, emotionally attuned, and calm.  The ideal candidate has meaningful experience supporting children with behavioral and developmental needs and is confident navigating defiance, sibling conflict, emotional regulation, transitions, and other challenging behaviors while reinforcing family- and provider-approved behavioral strategies, including ABA-supported routines. Someone who can model respectful communication and help the children develop age-appropriate independence will be a wonderful addition to the team. Fostering independence is also a priority of the family. The right nanny will guide the children in taking age-appropriate ownership of their routines, belongings, spaces, and responsibilities rather than doing everything for them.
• Full Spanish and English fluency is essential to this role. The ideal candidate understands that Spanish immersion is an important family priority and will enthusiastically communicate with the children exclusively in Spanish throughout the day, even when children respond in English. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable working alongside another experienced career nanny. This is a collaborative environment rather than an independent nanny position, and success requires strong communication, flexibility, mutual respect, and the ability to share responsibilities while maintaining consistent expectations for the children. The family values someone who is emotionally mature, discreet, flexible, highly organized, and comfortable receiving direction while also bringing initiative and professional expertise to their area of responsibility. Strong self-initiative, planning skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through are important to success in this role.
• Responsibilities include providing attentive, developmentally appropriate care while supporting the children's routines, academics, activities, and overall well-being. The nanny will oversee school routines, transportation, homework and educational enrichment, as well as child-related school communication, tutoring and ABA coordination, appointments, calendars, and logistics. As the primary nanny point person for the youngest child, they will take particular ownership of her behavioral, developmental, therapeutic, and educational continuity while reinforcing family- and provider-approved strategies. Working collaboratively with the co-nanny and household team, the nanny will maintain consistency across the children's care, encourage age-appropriate independence, assist with child-related organization and meal preparation, and travel with the family throughout the year.
• While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate with domestic and international family travel experience. A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, special education background, or additional training related to neurodivergence, behavioral support, or child development, and a career nanny with UHNW or fully staffed private household experience are strongly preferred.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate academic, behavioral, social, and emotional support
• Professional experience working with neurodivergent children and/or children with behavioral, developmental, or learning differences
• Knowledgeable and confident in reinforcing family-and-provider-approved behavioral strategies, including ABA-supported routines when applicable
• Bachelor's degree in education, child development, special education, psychology, or a closely related field
• Fluent in Spanish
• Experience providing in-home immersive language environments
• Strong academic support, homework oversight, tutoring coordination, and educational enrichment skills
• Experience working collaboratively with parents, household leadership, educators, tutors, therapists, behavioral providers, and other household professionals
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally with the family up to 10 weeks per year
• Flexibility for occasional overnights, early mornings, extended childcare, summer schedules, and seven-day-a-week availability during family travel
• Willingness and availability to work two Saturdays per month
• Able to swim and supervise children in and around water
• Comfortable working in a home with cats
