This busy, dynamic Tribeca, NY family is seeking a professional, career rotational nanny/family assistant to join their household team and provide reliable, consistent support in their travel-filled lifestyle.

  • Location: Tribeca, New York, with travel (Michigan, Montana, Europe, Caribbean)
  • Ages of children: 10 years old
  • Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
  • Schedule: Full-time, rotational schedule of 3-4 weeks on/3-4weeks off. The family will require flexibility around hours and evenings, travel and occasional overnights will be required.  
  • Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $100k/year dependent on candidate experience. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
  • Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits, including a health insurance reimbursement/stipend.
  • Live-in/Live-out: Live-in when on duty in own quarters, rental or own room depending on location, live-out while off duty.
  • Other notes: The family will pay for travel in and out from the location of rotation and is seeking candidates living anywhere from the East Coast to the Midwest. Driving will only be required when at the family's residence in Michigan; a car will be provided there for professional and personal use.

  • This busy, organized Tribeca family is seeking a rotational nanny/family assistant to support their dynamic home. Their 10-year-old son is a curious, imaginative, and empathetic child who loves creative play, outdoor activities, and staying active. He is at school all day and attends camps and programs in the summer. The family values maintaining as calm and low-stress environment at home as possible and would appreciate someone who can support this energy while embracing the family’s consistent routines ​​, helping smooth over the daily transitions and multitude of activities required for daily routines. They also share their home with their beloved pets — a small pub dog and a friendly small white cockatiel bird.
  • This is a busy, organized, and well-supported household that travels frequently throughout the year to destinations including Europe, Montana, Michigan, and the Caribbean. Both parents frequently work from home. While traveling, the nanny/family assistant will collaborate closely with another experienced rotational nanny, housekeepers, chefs, and the family's assistant and property manager. The role includes supporting the family's active lifestyle through childcare, travel, and light family assistant responsibilities that help keep their lives running smoothly.

  • The ideal candidate is a calm, grounded, professional, and self-confident career nanny/family assistant who enjoys supporting a curious, sweet child. The family is seeking someone comfortable working collaboratively while maintaining an independent, proactive approach to their day-to-day. Someone adaptable, organized yet naturally easygoing, and able to navigate changing schedules and travel with flexibility and professionalism, will be a wonderful addition to the team. The family has an established routine and is looking for someone who can seamlessly partner with their existing rotational nanny and other household staff to provide consistent, thoughtful care while helping keep their busy household running smoothly. With the family’s dynamic, travel-filled lifestyle, someone who loves adventure, embraces new experiences, and enjoys becoming a long-term, trusted member of a family's support system will thrive in this role.
  • Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family assisting duties include running errands, running or finishing loads of laundry or dishes, general tidying up, dropping off shipping items, coordinating vendors, and general help.
  • A candidate who has an independent nature and who enjoys travel, calmly handles transitions, change and busy schedules, and enjoys outdoor activities and sports will be happy in this role.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of professional childcare experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid passport
  • Demonstrated travel experience, such as having lived abroad or extensively traveled
  • Able to swim and oversee children in water
  • Experience working collaboratively and supportively in a team or a fully staffed environment
  • Family assisting experience
  • Animal-friendly! Enjoying light pet care
  • Ability to live-in while on duty and live-out while off duty
  • Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family
