Household dynamic:

  • This warm, organized, and conscientious family is raising two incredibly polite, grounded young children and is seeking a nanny to support and nurture their continued growth and development. Both girls are polite, remarkably easy-going, and super healthy, regulated children. Their oldest (almost 4-year-old) attends school each morning and three afternoons - and has two open afternoons a week for activities and time with younger sister and friends. Their youngest (almost 1-year-old) enjoys a gentle, home-based schedule with flexible outings and may have more scheduled activities this upcoming year. The family hopes to work with a candidate who will support the children’s activities that will foster their early development.
  • This is a Christian household that values kindness, safety, and strong communication. Both parents are regularly in and out of the home. They are both very protective and deeply dedicated to providing focused care for their children. The family also travels for work and vacations during traditional school breaks. They are looking for a strong, long-term full-time nanny who is comfortable working as a team with the parents, and possibly a part-time nanny to ensure seamless childcare support.

Ideal candidate:

  • This position is ideal for a kind, honest, warm nanny who thrives in a child-centered role! A smart, engaging candidate who enjoys reading with children and creates a thoughtful, learning-oriented environment where they can thrive will fit right in. The ideal candidate is child-focused, organized, and proactive in facilitating meaningful activities and anticipating the children’s needs, whether it’s managing transitions, prepping snacks, or supporting potty training with patience and care. The family values teamwork, excellent communication, and emotional presence. They are excited to work with someone even-keeled and collaborative who can enhance their children's daily lives while being fully present and connected with the children. Someone who can maintain a seamless, positive dynamic, without the distraction of logistics in front of the kids, is essential to this role. A developmentally and safety-conscious nanny with a positive, energetic spirit will be ideal. The family is eager to build a long-term partnership with someone who will be excited to support the family’s rhythm and grow with them in the years to come.
  • Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
  • While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who can swim and care for children in water.

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of professional childcare experience
  • Comfortable preparing basic meals for children
  • Family assisting experience
  • Travel experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid passport
