This warm and energetic San Francisco family is seeking a nurturing, professional nanny to support the care and development of their joyful 6-month-old.

• Location: San Francisco, CA
• Ages of children: 6 months old
• Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
• Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 48 hours per week. A routine weekly schedule with frequent opportunity for additional hours over travel and weekends with advance notice.
• Compensation: The family is offering $50/hour based on the 48-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $128,700k/year range. The family may be open to a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
• Benefits: The family will provide paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, and relocation assistance for candidates relocating to San Francisco. The family will also provide healthy chef-prepared food during all working hours.

• This dynamic Bay Area family is overjoyed to watch their firstborn grow into an immensely happy, inquisitive, and thoughtful child. At 6 months old, she’s already emotionally attuned and forming strong connections to the people around her. She is already ‌sleep trained - happily napping and sleeping through the night. Her development is progressing rapidly, with new milestones unfolding each day - like rolling, sitting, chatting, and new ways of playing with her parents. She loves hanging out in the backyard and going for walks all around the neighborhood and by the water. She’s strong-willed, an excellent communicator, and an overall joyful and easy baby to care for.
• Their home is loving, private, and full of positive energy. They often host friends and family for dinner or visits. Both parents are working (father full-time, mother part-time from home).
• The family values a calm and peaceful energy in their household team, and they place a high priority on privacy and discretion. They foster a collaborative and supportive household staff that includes a housekeeper, chef, and a chief of staff.
• The family travels frequently throughout the year to cities around the world and multiple family residences. They travel for family events, work-related trips, vacations, and athletic events (a very sporty family!) and would love for their nanny to join them and be a supportive presence in their family adventures. Their daughter loves to travel and has become accustomed to new places and adjusting to different time zones with ease.

• This position is ideal for a nurturing, experienced, professional, and emotionally intelligent nanny who loves being out and about and is genuinely passionate about supporting the early growth and development of a bright, cheerful, growing child. The family is seeking someone who brings a calm demeanor and a peaceful energy, both in caring for their daughter and within their loving home. At the same time, they are looking for a candidate who can bring an upbeat attitude and move throughout the day. A thoughtful, developmentally-minded candidate will be highly valued.
• Discretion and privacy are significant for this family, and trust is the foundation of their relationship with their household staff. They hope to work with a candidate who understands how to balance warmth and friendliness with clear, respectful boundaries and strong professionalism even in informal settings. The ideal nanny will be a true team player, someone who can easily collaborate with the family and other household staff, and who naturally steps in to support the rhythm of a well-run, respectful home.
• The family travels frequently to multiple residences and family events throughout the year, so flexibility is key in this role. A candidate who can adapt to dynamic environments while maintaining consistency and care for the child will excel in this role. They will appreciate a proactive candidate who can anticipate the needs at home, ensuring the baby and the family are well supported behind the scenes. A candidate who stays one step ahead and brings ease to the family’s dynamic, travel-filled routine will be deeply valued. Given the family’s travels and family events, a clean, polished dress code could be requested for travel depending on circumstances.
• Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
• While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who speaks any second language and/or has experience working with private, high-profile families.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Familiarity with educational philosophies (Montessori, RIE, Pikler, etc.)
• Experience working in a fully staffed home
• Ability to swim and care for children around water
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid passport
• Vaccinated against COVID-19
