Household dynamic:
- This loving return Adventure Nannies’ family is seeking a Spanish-speaking rotational nanny to nurture and care for their bright and active toddler. Their home is lively, playful, and full of love. They value kindness, curiosity, and connection, and are looking for someone who can become an extension of their family. Their 16-month-old son is an exceptionally spirited, joyful, strong, and advanced toddler who thrives with enriching engagement and stimulation. He loves music, dancing, sensory play, painting, and outdoor adventures, and attending a variety of enriching classes and activities each week. The family values hands-on, educational-focused learning and is looking for a candidate who can actively support and encourage their son’s holistic development. The household is bilingual in Spanish and English, and they would love a nanny who feels comfortable communicating in both languages. Two sweet, hypoallergenic dogs are also beloved members of the family, so someone who is pet-friendly is important.
- Both parents are highly involved and hands-on, with Mom working from home. They would love to work with a candidate who enjoys collaborating with engaged parents. The family leads a dynamic lifestyle filled with travel, often spending several weeks at both domestic and international destinations. They typically stay in one location for a few weeks to a couple of months, allowing them to establish a routine while still being on the move. Currently, the family is supported by another full-time Adventure nanny and a housekeeper. Their household is warm, structured, and loving, and they are eager to find someone who can grow with them and be a consistent, positive presence in their son's life, no matter where they are in the world.
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for an emotionally intelligent, nurturing, proactive, and naturally attuned Spanish-speaking rotational nanny who is passionate about early childhood development and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented household. The family is looking for someone who genuinely loves supporting toddlers and approaches childcare with intention, curiosity, and enthusiasm. A learning-oriented nanny with a strong understanding of toddler development and childcare philosophies such as Montessori, or any educational background, and who finds joy in enriching young children through engaging, developmentally focused activities and naturally weaving learning into everyday moments would be a wonderful addition to their team. The ideal candidate will be confident in reinforcing health boundaries, including teaching him to be gentle with the dogs, encouraging independence, curiosity, responsibility, and routines during these foundational years, while also serving as a supportive and trusted resource for first-time parents.
- The family is seeking someone who is charismatic, organized, and deeply invested in their child’s growth, someone who naturally takes initiative, anticipates needs, and approaches the role with professional and genuine care. A true partner who is confident working independently but also comfortable collaborating with the family and other caregivers when needed will be a wonderful addition. The ideal candidate will be patient, compassionate, and comfortable working alongside a hands-on Mom who enjoys being actively involved in her son’s day-to-day life and values open communication, teamwork, and shared learning.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who has higher education in child development.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for toddlers
- Spanish language fluency
- Valid driver's license
- Valid passport
- Ability to swim and care for children in and around water
- Dog-friendly
- Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family
