Miami, FL | Attuned Spanish-Speaking Nanny Wanted For Loving Family

This loving, travel-filled Miami family is seeking a nurturing, Spanish-speaking rotational nanny who is a true educator at heart and will provide thoughtful, developmentally focused care for their joyful, active toddler.

• Location: Miami, Florida
• Ages of children: 21 months old 
• Start date: As soon as they find the right fit! 
• Schedule: Full-time, rotational schedule of 10 days on/10 days off. Candidates will be on call 24/7, and specifically can expect to work at a minimum between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm. The family will communicate about specific weekly hours in advance. Flexibility will be key!
• Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $150k/year, dependent on candidate experience.
• Benefits: The family is open to providing benefits, including paid holidays, health insurance and/or a health insurance stipend, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.

• This loving return Adventure Nannies’ family is seeking a Spanish-speaking rotational nanny to nurture and care for their bright, curious, and active toddler. Their home is lively, playful, and full of love, and they value kindness, curiosity, and connection. Their son enjoys music, dancing, sensory play, painting, arts and crafts, and anything involving vehicles and wheels. He also loves climbing, running, outdoor exploration, and attends a variety of enriching classes and activities each week.The family values hands-on learning and is looking for a candidate who can thoughtfully support his emotional, cognitive, and physical development, recognize his individual interests, encourage emerging skills, and know when to introduce a new challenge. A balance of purposeful activities and unstructured, child-led play is important.
• Both parents are highly involved and hands-on, with Mom working from home and actively participating in day-to-day life. They seek someone who enjoys partnering with engaged parents, welcomes direction, and contributes their own knowledge, observations, and ideas. The household is bilingual in Spanish and English. Two beloved dogs are part of the family, so being pet-friendly is important. The family travels often — domestic and international, frequently staying in one destination for several weeks to a couple of months. They are currently supported by another full-time Adventure nanny and a housekeeper, and value a collaborative, respectful team.

Ideal candidate: 

• This position is ideal for a nurturing, observant, and developmentally minded nanny who is genuinely invested in supporting the child’s growth during these foundational years. A background in early childhood development or education is highly preferred, though a formal degree is not required for a candidate who can demonstrate strong knowledge of child development. Familiarity with philosophies such as Montessori is welcome. The ideal candidate will be naturally attuned to the child, noticing emerging skills and interests and thoughtfully adapting activities, outings, and learning opportunities to meet him where he is developmentally.
• The family is seeking a proactive self-starter who enjoys creating thoughtful structure and rhythm around a child’s day. This person will confidently anticipate needs, develop age-appropriate routines, activities, outings, and learning opportunities, and collaborate with Mom on the details. Strong organization and follow-through are important, as is the ability to encourage independence, curiosity, healthy boundaries, and gentle interactions with the family’s dogs. A confident and collaborative approach will be especially valued in this hands-on household. The ideal candidate will be comfortable receiving direction and feedback from involved parents while also offering thoughtful observations, developmental insights, or concerns when appropriate. Someone who is warm, patient, professional, communicative, and genuinely invested in being a trusted partner in the child’s well-being will thrive in this role.
• Responsibilities include providing attentive, nurturing care supporting the child's overall growth: planning and facilitating developmentally appropriate activities, coordinating classes and outings, maintaining routines, supporting independence and emotional development, and balancing active play, creative experiences, and unstructured exploration. Child-related household responsibilities include but are not limited to preparing meals, tidying and organizing the child's belongings and play areas, occasional child-related errands. Travel with the family throughout the year, maintaining consistency in care and routines across destinations. Someone who enjoys cooking creative, healthy meals for the child would be especially welcome and preparing an occasional family meal is a plus!

Qualifications: 

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Strong knowledge of toddler development and hands-on experience supporting age-appropriate milestones
• Spanish language fluency
• Experience collaborating with involved parents and other caregivers
• Valid driver's license
• Valid passport
• Ability to swim and care for children in and around water
• Dog-friendly
• Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family
