Household dynamic:
- This friendly and fun family is seeking a highly organized, educationally-minded nanny/family assistant to support their household and care for their bright and playful 3-year-old son! His parents describe him as incredibly funny and charming. He loves to be goofy, sing songs, and crack jokes. He's mischievous in a charming way, loves memorizing things, and is currently obsessed with the Sonic Universe—after a long phase of adoring dinosaurs. The nanny will support his academic and developmental growth by creating a warm, engaging environment that nurtures his potential, curiosity, and love of learning. He will attend school during the day, and during those hours, the role will shift toward family assisting responsibilities, supporting the smooth and organized running of this warm household.
- Both parents hold PhDs in the sciences and describe themselves as friendly, goofy, and bookish. They deeply value learning and education, and have a strong appreciation for a clean and organized home. They're a close-knit, international family who speak English, Portuguese, and Russian at home, with grandparents from Brazil and Portugal who frequently visit and play a big role in their lives. The family loves traveling and discovering new places together. In the summers, they will escape the Dallas heat to immerse themselves in nature, heading to the Bay Area and other vibrant destinations like Portugal and Brazil. They're excited to welcome a travel-ready candidate who’s eager to join them on their family adventures!

- This role is perfect for someone who is intellectually curious, discreet, and naturally tidy and organized—a nanny/family assistant who loves reading, exploring new ideas, and brings a calm, genuine enthusiasm for learning into their everyday routine. The family would love to work with a candidate who is passionate about supporting their child’s academic growth and development and helping him reach his full potential. Someone warm, thoughtful, and who can respect the family’s privacy and home dynamic will be essential. Tidiness and professionalism will be deeply appreciated!

Childcare responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family assisting duties are running errands, helping with the dishes, grocery shopping, coordinating vendors, and managing the family calendar.
