Household dynamic:
- These warm, organized, and loving parents live in the Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco with their two sons and one sweet dog! A second nanny who is focused on the younger child is also in the home full-time, as is a full-time housekeeper and another part-time weekend nanny, so there will be many opportunities for daily collaboration and interaction. While your primary responsibility will be for the older child, you will be asked to provide some care for the younger child and the family dog in partnership with the other team members. The family has a second home in Santa Barbara and looks forward to working with a nanny who will be flexible and excited to join them in both locations (they primarily spend the summer there and will provide housing).

Child-related tasks include but are not limited to providing care for the children with a special focus on the older child. The nanny will be responsible for keeping the older son on the keto diet. This includes shopping for and maintaining a pantry with relevant items, following instructions for preparing meals, accurately measuring and logging food ratios in an app, and administering medication in pill form. Additional responsibilities include tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, following before-school and after-school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate with experience preparing children’s meals following specific instructions (the keto diet).
Qualifications:
