When they aren’t working, the parents love cooking big meals and spending time together as a family. A candidate who can join the family on their travels for a couple of weeks each year will be valued- they enjoy taking annual ski and beach vacations. They would love for their nanny to be a part of their family!

Ideal candidate:

• This position is ideal for someone who brings all-around awesome, autonomous energy to their role. A candidate who is eager to balance nanny and family assisting responsibilities, loves working with the preschool and early elementary years, and values their role in supporting the family holistically! Someone with a playful, see-a-need, fill-a-need mentality and an engaging spirit will thrive alongside this kind family.
• Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, and errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family assisting duties are running errands, light meal preparation (ie, washing and chopping veggies), grocery shopping, occasionally coordinating vendors, and tidying of common areas.
• While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate with an educational background or previous experience working in a hybrid nanny/family assistant role!

Qualifications:

• 3 years of professional childcare experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid passport or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Knowledge and experience with preschool and early elementary-age children
• Willingness to pitch in with family assisting duties
