Household dynamic:
- This jovial and hardworking Minnesota couple fell in love on the East Coast and recently welcomed their first child who is a happy, curious, and snuggly baby boy born in March. Dad has lived in New York City since 2009, working in finance, while Mom joined him there in 2020. Both parents hold demanding and highly engaged professional roles, with Mom working three days per week with limited cellphone access during the work day. After spending Mom's maternity leave in Minnesota surrounded by grandparents and friends, the family is relocating back to New York City full-time in late January, into a spacious three-bedroom apartment in TriBeCa. Their son is just beginning to engage with the world around him, delighting in animals, lights, and laughter.
- Both parents grew up with full-time childcare and deeply value having consistent, reliable support. They're looking for a team of ROTA nannies who can make independent decisions, communicate proactively, and keep things running smoothly without needing constant check-ins once trust is established. They're outgoing, easygoing people who want their son to be socialized and active, participating in swim lessons, music classes, park playdates, and all the enriching activities. The family appreciates people who are professional and reliable who they can trust deeply. They look forward to fostering a long-lasting relationship with their new nannies!
Ideal candidate:

Candidates who can create a nurturing environment while supporting the child's individual needs through interactive and enriching activities will be an excellent addition. The family fosters a supportive and collaborative home environment and will value candidates with team-oriented, proactive, and easygoing attitudes who can work harmoniously with parents and other household staff. The ideal candidates love the outdoors, will be proactive in recommending activities and playgroups, and are committed to getting their son outside daily to foster an active, curious, and engaged lifestyle.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children's areas, occasional errands, coordinating enrichment activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. The nanny will be responsible for managing the child's daily routines and keeping parents informed without requiring constant communication, especially when Mom is at work and unable to respond to texts. Candidates who are familiar with ROTA teams and understand the value of collaborating and communicating with a co-nanny to foster a team environment will thrive with these first-time parents!
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who speaks a second language and is comfortable preparing basic meals for the entire family.

They typically bring at least one nanny on their trips. Someone excited to join them in their family adventures will be a great fit! The family is supported by housekeepers, a nanny team (including one Adventure Nanny!), and an executive assistant. A team-oriented candidate who can seamlessly navigate the family’s dynamic and work well alongside the family and other household staff will be beneficial!

They enjoy planning enriching, educational, and active play, while also supporting homework, school needs, and a healthy daily structure.

Since the family travels frequently domestically and internationally, they are eager to work with someone who is travel-savvy, adaptable, and confident managing transitions and logistics on the go. A candidate who can maintain consistency and structure in new environments will thrive in this role. This is a collaborative home, and someone who brings calm confidence, consistency in their care, and reliability will feel right at home.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, with primary focus on all child-related household tasks, including but not limited to light meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
- While not a requirement, the family would love to work with a candidate who has a background in working with neurodivergent children.

The schedule will always be shared the week before, but flexibility for changes within reason is expected. During travel, this role will often exceed 40 hours, with overnights and full days being common. Flexibility and a team-oriented mindset during travel are key!
- Compensation: The family is offering $40/hour based on the 40-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $83k/year range. The family may be open to a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
- Benefits: The family will provide paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, a vehicle for personal and professional use, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-in. In Kauai, the family will provide a private apartment. In Ohai, the family will provide a detached guest house with a kitchen and bathroom.
Household dynamic:
- This warm, spiritually-minded, and health-focused family is seeking a nanny/family assistant to join them and care for their joyful, spirited 16-month-old son. He thrives with present, hands-on care and delights in outdoor play and enjoys hands-on and present care. His mornings typically begin with a packed bag and an outdoor adventure, walking, swimming, or on a breakfast picnic. While he is not yet in school, they plan to homeschool him and would love for the nanny to gently integrate early learning into his day. During naptime, the nanny will assist with light family tasks.
- This is a friendly, laid-back family who splits time between Hawaii and California. They are currently based in Kauai until June and plan to settle into a new home in Ojai soon after. They embrace a mindful, travel-filled lifestyle, often taking a few 1- to 2-month trips per year and a few-day-to-a-week trip every couple of months. The family will be traveling most of March and will be in Europe in September. Full availability is required late August to mid-October as the family will be traveling abroad. Both parents describe their parenting style as a blend of attachment parenting and nurturing independence while validating big feelings. This household is supported by a full-time, career nanny, who has become like a third parent for their son, and a part-time nanny whom their son adores. The full-time nanny is transitioning out of the role in February, and the family is hoping for an overlap and smooth hand-off to their next long-term support.
Ideal candidate:
- This role is ideal for a grounded, travel-ready, outdoor-loving professional who thrives in nature, is enthusiastic about young children, and aligns with intentional living. The family is seeking an experienced and playful nanny/family assistant who prioritizes child development and enjoys enriching, outdoor days with an energetic toddler. The ideal candidate is super curious about how to best support their son developmentally, whether it’s bringing new things, ideas, and concepts into the home. Someone who is excited about researching new developmental games, age-appropriate art projects, coming in with new meal prep ideas, or suggesting new activities/toys as needed will be highly appreciated. Both parents are deeply committed to emotional validation, independence, and resilience. Someone very comfortable creating and holding loving boundaries for toddlers and who values direct and heart-led communication will be a wonderful fit. They’re looking for someone who shares this philosophy, offering a secure, attachment-based approach while guiding their child through big emotions with empathy and confidence.
- A “third-parent” mindset is key: someone attuned to routines, confident in making autonomous decisions, and aware of how small shifts (like a missed nap) impact the day. Both parents are very hands-on and do not have typical work schedules. They are frequently in and out of the house throughout the day. This role requires someone who can seamlessly weave in and out of caring for our son, adjusting in real time when one of them steps in, and shifting to other household tasks as needed. This collaborative flow embodies their vision of a “third parent” - someone who is confident, attuned, and able to work fluidly alongside us while maintaining a child-first mindset. Since the family travels frequently between homes, the ideal candidate is comfortable with travel and excited by adventure. This is a childcare-first role, with light family assisting during downtime. Someone who can step in fully, including overnight care when needed, and balance warmth with professionalism will thrive in this position.
- This is a nanny/family assistant role with the majority of hours being child-focused. Responsibilities include creating a safe and loving environment for the child to grow and thrive! This includes but is not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, supporting daily routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. The family will provide a weekly checklist for the nanny or family assistant, listing extra items for child-related duties such as cleaning the car seat, swapping out toys, and more. Family-assisting duties include regularly tidying up the household, cleaning dishes, and occasionally doing laundry during the child’s naptime. The candidate will also assist with running errands, light meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, coordinating vendors, and managing the family calendar.

Their eldest child is 3 years old and loves maps, photography, dinosaurs, nature, and vehicles. He loves to play pretend! He also attends preschool three days a week in Connecticut. Their youngest twin daughters are 1.5 years old. One loves books and music, while the other loves dressing up and running around at full speed. They are looking to welcome a rotational nanny to round out their caregiving team, which currently includes three rotational nannies. They are an adventurous, bilingual household, with Mandarin also spoken at home.

Skiing is a big part of their lifestyle, and the first school their oldest was enrolled in was a ski school. Every year, they embark on an extended business/leisure trip to Asia, typically lasting a few weeks, as well as a similar trip to Europe. They also take various trips to Maryland to visit their extended family. Closer to home, the family enjoys weekly stays in Manhattan and takes weekend getaways to various cities and towns on the East Coast, including Martha's Vineyard, Maine, and North Carolina. The family's style of traveling usually involves weaving their way across a few countries they haven’t been to before. The family fosters a fun dynamic at home with their fully staffed household team, employing three rotational nannies as well as a housekeeper and chef who comes twice a week.

Someone with toddler experience who can step in and provide consistent corrective guidance in a gentle yet firm manner will be a great fit. Both parents are calm and reserved, so someone more introverted, thoughtful, and observant will thrive. They have long-term rotational nannies, and the candidate should be able to collaborate effectively with the family and their existing nanny team. Once trust is established, the candidate should be able to take sole charge of one to two children at a time.
- They are looking for an efficient-minded candidate who has vast experience traveling with families, confident in managing logistics such as packing and repacking, installing car seats, managing strollers, and keeping pace with an on-the-go household. Adaptability is key, as the family values open communication and seeks someone professional, present, and open to feedback. The ideal candidate will anticipate needs, map out tasks, parallel process, optimize, and collaborate alongside other household members. Strong executive-functioning skills to delegate tasks appropriately are essential in their fast-paced, travel-oriented household. The family is not a resort family and prefers creating roadmaps, exploring different cities, and embracing adventure. A candidate who thrives in a grounded, dynamic environment and keeps pace with children already accustomed to a travel-filled lifestyle will be a perfect fit.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family assisting duties are running errands, light meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, sending packages, dry cleaning, tidying and organizing, and coordinating vendors.

Household dynamic:
- This adventurous family of five is embracing the world as their classroom! After stepping away from traditional schooling this year to explore the possibilities of private education while traveling, they are now seeking a team of two private educators to help the family create a tailored, enriching academic experience for their three children (currently in 3rd, 5th, and 7th grade) using the world as their classroom. All three children love learning and enjoy both traditional school and homeschooling. They are into arts and crafts, cooking, music, sports, reading, animals, space, and science. They have adapted well to their family’s on-the-go lifestyle, hopping on a whim to far-off places. The family envisions an approach that incorporates worldschooling opportunities alongside a strong, customized academic foundation. While the two younger children are thriving in this new academic setting, their eldest, a motivated learner who is a year ahead in math, needs an educator who will help guide her ambitions and keep her challenged! The family values education and is committed to giving their children a globally-minded learning experience where they can make the most out of every location they visit, while feeling confident they are keeping up-to-speed on the milestones set forth by a traditional school system so their children can transition back in at some point. They are excited to welcome educators who share their values in education and a passion for worldschooling and travel.
- The family’s home base is in Franklin, Tennessee, though they don’t often find themselves there for long stretches of time! Right now, they are on a two-month trip throughout Asia and Australia and plan to explore Europe next year. Supporting this dedicated home are its housekeepers, maintenance staff, and temporary tutors who are transitioning to new roles before the holidays.
Ideal candidate:

Candidates who excel at creating customized learning plans and curricula tailored to the unique strengths, needs, and interests of each child will be the perfect fit. Someone who brings strong experience or familiarity in worldschooling and finds joy in creating meaningful educational experiences and using the day’s location as an opportunity for fostering learning and excitement will be an amazing fit! The family is seeking two private educators who can meet each child where they are, including providing their eldest, a bright and motivated student who is eager to move ahead, and support her learning aspirations. The right candidate will be dedicated to ensuring each child has tailored learning experiences, rather than having a default curriculum for everyone or sticking to the middle ground. They will have confidence and initiative to add to and execute individualized curriculum plans and will have a strong sense of emotional intelligence to connect with each child in an enriching and meaningful way while on the road.
- Since the family travels for many weeks throughout the year, the perfect candidate is confident and experienced in navigating ever-changing environments, whether it is a new city or country, and thoughtful about what it means to integrate experiential learning into daily life. Candidates who are well-traveled, culturally aware, and confident in managing logistics will be valued! A health-conscious candidate with a positive presence who can serve as a strong role model for all three children, supporting them holistically in their academics, confidence, and daily living. The family is excited to welcome candidates from any background or walk of life - they value their children being taught how to think, not what to think, and they are seeking someone who is nurturing and intellectually curious, who is comfortable leaving strong political or religious opinions outside of the classroom and maintaining a neutral, respectful environment.
- Responsibilities include designing and implementing individualized, developmentally appropriate academic curricula for each child, balancing academic instruction with an experiential, worldschooling learning approach while traveling, maintaining and tracking academic progress to adapt lessons across dynamic environments, and planning and supervising excursions and other enriching activities for all children. Candidates are also responsible for working collaboratively with the other educator and communicating effectively with parents regarding academic plans, progress, and needs, fostering independence, curiosity, critical thinking, a global mindset in children, and traveling. Private educators will also help in creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, and during the day, candidates will also help with light childcare duties, including child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal and snack prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, ensuring children are hydrated, applying sunscreen, and preparing them for excursions, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.

Little Rock, AR | Nurturing Nanny Wanted For Calm, Globally-Minded FamilyLearn MoreThis kind, easygoing Little Rock family of five is seeking a nurturing, organized nanny to support their newborn and two school-aged children in a warm, thoughtful household.
- Location: Leawood, Little Rock, AR
- Ages of children: 11 and 10 years old, and 3 weeks old
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40-50 hours per week, with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday roughly between 8:30am-6:30pm.
- Compensation: The family is offering $40-50/hour based on the 40-50 hours/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $83k-143k/year range.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a $200-$400 monthly healthcare stipend, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-out
Household dynamic:
- This chill, quiet, and globally-minded family recently relocated to Little Rock and just welcomed their third child, an adorable newborn boy. Their older two children, aged 11 and 10, are currently homeschooled, and the family plans to enroll them in school starting in the ‘26-’27 academic year. Right now, they are following an online curriculum and supplementing it with additional outside lessons, like piano lessons. Their oldest child, who is in sixth grade, enjoys art and reading, while their fourth-grade son likes building with Legos and participating in physical activities. Their son is mildly neurodivergent: he can be picky about food, especially texture, and sometimes gets overstimulated. He benefits from someone who is patient and can provide structure and a day-to-day plan to help keep him at ease. Both children love riding bikes with their friends next door and playing iPad games with friends from their old hometown. They have a solid morning routine: they wake up, eat breakfast, and then begin computer work before moving on to play or activities. Depending on the day, they go to various outside activities/lessons. Weekends are mostly off for them. The family also shares their home with three small dogs.
- Both parents are full-time physicians with busy and often unpredictable schedules. They tend to be homebodies but enjoy finding fun activities when they can. Mom likes baking, the outdoors, culture, and politics, while Dad is into language, technology, building/fixing, and relaxing. Dad will be taking three months of paternity leave starting in December, when Mom returns to work. With the newborn at home and the older kids still homeschooling, the family knows that having one parent at home managing everything will be a lot, so finding the perfect support is important. This is a Christian household where English is the primary language, and the family enjoys learning about different cultures and languages. The family travels for a few weeks throughout the year, most often to visit family, but they also plan special trips once or twice annually. Next year, they are planning to visit Iceland! Their home is also supported by a weekly housekeeper. They hope to find a long-term nanny who can grow with them.
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for a calm, laid-back, and confident nanny/family assistant who brings strong experience in caring for newborns and toddlers and fostering their holistic growth and development while supporting a busy, vibrant home. Someone who can maintain a clear sense of structure and consistency throughout the day and follow through will be an excellent fit. The family tends to be a little more laid-back in their parenting style. They want the children to have independence and free will, while also fostering respect, rules, and responsibilities. They would value a nurturing and decisive caregiver who can model good habits for the children and gently motivate them to clean up after themselves and contribute to the household. The ideal candidate is someone who can actively assist older children with homework and after-school routines. Patience and a basic understanding of kids on the spectrum, food aversions/sensitivities, and navigating big emotions are essential, especially for their older son, who occasionally has big emotions when he’s tired or hungry.
- Adaptability is important for this role! Both parents lead a busy lifestyle, so an adaptable candidate who can manage the family schedule, anticipate their needs, and pitch in with family assisting tasks, such as preparing daily meals, picking up grocery orders, and helping create an organized home, will be beneficial.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family assisting duties are running errands, light meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, coordinating vendors, and managing the family calendar.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who is comfortable preparing meals for the entire family and/or has a car they are comfortable using for transporting children during working hours
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Newborn/infant/toddler experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Family assisting experience
- Travel nanny experience
- Able to swim and care for children in water
- Knowledgeable and confident in supporting neurodivergent children
- Dog-friendly
- Valid driver's license
