Downtown Bellevue, WA | Calm Nanny/Household Manager Wanted For Hands-On FamilyLearn MoreThis thoughtful Bellevue family is seeking an engaging, organized nanny/household manager, ideally with Mandarin fluency, to support their toddler with attentive, developmentally focused care while partnering with hands-on parents.
- Location: Downtown Bellevue, Washington
- Ages of children: 2 years old
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week, with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Compensation: The family is offering $50-55/hour based on the 40-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation in the $104,000-$114,400/year range.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-out
- Other notes: The family is open to both local and relocation candidates.
Household dynamic:
- This caring, hardworking WA-based family is seeking a nanny/household manager to join them in caring for and nurturing their 2-year-old daughter and maintaining an organized home. She is playful, imaginative, and loves building, especially with Duplos, reading, numbers, and exploring through hands-on play. The nanny will take the lead in providing attentive, nurturing care - planning engaging, developmentally appropriate activities within the home, supporting her growing interest in early learning (including Mandarin language and foundational math concepts), preparing meals with awareness of her mild milk and egg allergies, and maintaining her routines and play spaces. The family has intentionally created a rich and engaging home environment, with multiple play spaces including a play structure with a slide, a craft area, a reading nook, and imaginative play zones. While the daughter enjoys a variety of daily outings with her mother to Mandarin library storytime, swim class, play dates, and visits to the zoo and aquarium, the family maintains a firm boundary that all nanny-led activities take place within the home. The family describes themselves as organized, private, playful, and active, balancing the demands of running a business with a strong desire to be present, hands-on parents. Education has played a meaningful role in their lives, and they are passionate about giving their daughter every opportunity to learn and grow while also embracing the joy, silliness, and imagination of childhood.
- The household is well-supported by a weekly housekeeper, a private chef, and a part-time household assistant, and the nanny will play a key role in helping oversee and complement these systems. Travel is minimal (typically under two weeks per year, often to California or Hawaii). Dad works primarily in-office and Mom has hybrid work (three days in-office and two days at-home); during busier seasons at work, Mom will rely more heavily on childcare support and welcomes someone who is flexible and willing to pivot to household support during quieter times while Mom has quality time with their daughter.
Ideal candidate:
- This role is 70% childcare and 30% household management, adapting to the family’s needs and in the hopes of establishing a long-term, trusted partnership that could continue for many years as the family grows. While not a requirement for the role, the family would give strong preference to candidates who can speak Mandarin.
- For childcare, this position is ideal for a calm, driven, nurturing, and proactive person who finds joy in supporting a toddler’s love of learning and her overall well-being. The family will appreciate a high-energy, engaging individual who can thoughtfully guide their daughter’s development in an enriching and joyful way.
- For supporting the household, the ideal candidate is highly organized and intuitive, someone who finds satisfaction in maintaining order, anticipating the family’s needs, and keeping things running smoothly. The right candidate will be comfortable pivoting priorities depending on the family’s needs. During busy work periods, the candidate will confidently take the lead on childcare. When Mom has more flexibility to spend time with her daughter, the candidate will lean into household support. The role is perfect for someone adaptable, dependable, and respectful of family boundaries, including a strong preference for in-home childcare.
- Early childhood education (ECE) units or an education in child development would also be a huge plus.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with toddlers
- Knowledge of child development and milestones
- Open to household management/family assisting duties
- Valid driver's license for household management/family assisting duties
- Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family
- Advanced fluency in Mandarin would be a huge plus!

- Live-in/Live-out: Live-out
Household dynamic:
- This organized, caring, and kind family is excited to welcome a dedicated nanny to join their household team and care for their three children. Their four-year-old is a curious, imaginative, and nature-loving boy who is passionate about cars and space. He currently attends an outdoor Waldorf-inspired preschool for half days and will transition to a full-day kindergarten program at the same school next year. He is a wonderful and caring big brother who experiences big feelings and is actively learning to process them constructively. The family is looking for a nanny who can meet those moments with calm confidence and a steady, patient presence. Their nearly two-year-old daughter is an extremely curious, thoughtful, and adventurous little one who loves books, puzzles, art, and stuffed animals. She has a great sense of humor and is known for being kind, funny, and a little mischievous. She attends a weekly art class and dance class, and loves going to playgrounds, visiting cafés, and embarking on any adventure. Their newborn is a calm, easygoing baby. All three children thrive outdoors, and the family places a strong emphasis on nature, curiosity, creativity, and compassion as the foundation of the children's days.
- Dad works from home in a separate office space occasionally, and Mom is a full-time, hands-on stay-at-home parent. Grandparents are also highly involved and in town for roughly half the year. The family has started hosting a Wednesday open dinner with family and friends.
- This is a warm, well-supported home that runs on teamwork and communication. The family is supported by housekeepers three times a week and a full-time nanny who is transitioning into a lead nanny role. Deep cleaning and meal preparation for the family are not part of this role. The nanny will actively collaborate with the family and the lead nanny, with some overlapping schedule days to tag-team. The family travels occasionally to nearby local resorts and to visit family.
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for a patient, upbeat, adaptable, and team-oriented nanny who is calm in chaos and thrives in a fast-paced, informal home. The ideal candidate will naturally connect with children while giving them space to play and explore. The family works best with someone who can facilitate and guide rather than direct every moment, stepping in as needed while allowing the children room to interact, discover, and be themselves.
- The right candidate is curious, engaging, and resourceful, and will bring their own interests and enthusiasm to the role, whether that's organizing projects, planning activities, or sharing a passion with the kids. The family highly values a candidate who has experience with special education or understanding sensory challenges and brings patience and calm confidence to support their son's needs and help him navigate big feelings. Fostering the children's curiosity, a compassionate approach, and time spent outdoors are all deeply appreciated.
- This is a social household, with kids and nannies from the family's wider community regularly coming through. The right candidate should be comfortable in an open, bustling environment. The family is looking for someone who communicates clearly and directly, adapts quickly, and shows up as a genuine team player, happy to divide and conquer, step in and out, and read the room. A candidate who is comfortable pitching in on child-related family assisting tasks will be an excellent fit. The nanny should be confident and self-aware, with a strong sense of when to hand off or take a break. The family is seeking someone who genuinely wants to support their children and grow alongside them.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, providing behavioral and emotional support to the children as they process their feelings, organizing children's areas and rotating toys, facilitating before- and after-school routines, preparing school lunches and ensuring backpacks/diaper bags are ready to go each morning, planning activities and coordinating playdates, occasional errands and adding items to shopping lists for the children, and occasional child-related meal prep.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to find a candidate who brings any of the following: an interest in math and science (to complement their lead nanny’s humanities and language focus), experience/familiarity with RIE/Waldorf/Montessori, and experience or knowledge working with kids with ADHD or Autism.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with infant and elementary-aged children
- Valid driver's license
- Family assisting experience
- Experience working in a team or a fully-staffed environment
- Comfort working with a hands-on stay-at-home parent
- Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family

- Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, health insurance, a retirement matching, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-out with 4 weeks of live-in available for settling in.
Household dynamic:
- These hard-working, intellectual first-time parents recently welcomed their daughter and are seeking a nanny to care for and nurture her development as they return to work. At 3 months, she is already a voraciously curious explorer who seems to take in every little thing around her. The family is looking for a nanny who can engage and help her develop, and fill her days with enriching experiences and activities. The family lives in a quiet suburb in eastern Oklahoma and enjoys being active, going on hikes, and spending time outdoors.
- This is a dual-career household. Dad works from home and will often remain in his office during work hours, though he would also like to step out to grab lunch or say hi to their daughter. Mom takes Mondays off, which means the whole family is home together during this time. The family travels 2-4 weeks per year, including work trips to Colorado and visiting family in Oklahoma City or New York City.
Ideal candidate:

The family is seeking someone reliable and efficient who can work independently. Someone who is excited to collaborate with the family while also being a self-starter and can manage the day without needing ongoing direction will be a wonderful fit. The ideal candidate is someone who finds genuine joy in caring for children and engaging with them in a natural, thoughtful way—most importantly, someone their daughter will truly enjoy spending time with. A nanny who will read, play, and foster their daughter’s curiosity with enriching, age-appropriate activities will be a perfect fit. A perceptive candidate who can meet an already voraciously curious infant where she is, support and anticipate her needs will be an excellent fit. Because Dad works from home and may step out of his office to engage with the baby, the ideal candidate will also be someone who can comfortably navigate the day-to-day rhythm and find a steady flow with one parent in the house. The family will also highly value a travel-ready nanny who can join their family adventures. They hope to work with someone genuinely excited to support the early growth and development of their daughter and be a steady support for the family.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.

Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with infants and toddlers
- Valid driver's license
- Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family

Household dynamic:
- This adventurous family of five is embracing the world as their classroom! After stepping away from traditional schooling this year to explore the possibilities of private education while traveling, they are now seeking a team of two private educators to help the family create a tailored, enriching academic experience for their three children (currently in 3rd, 5th, and 7th grade) using the world as their classroom. All three children love learning and enjoy both traditional school and homeschooling. They are into arts and crafts, cooking, music, sports, reading, animals, space, and science. They have adapted well to their family’s on-the-go lifestyle, hopping on a whim to far-off places. The family envisions an approach that incorporates worldschooling opportunities alongside a strong, customized academic foundation. While the two younger children are thriving in this new academic setting, their eldest, a motivated learner who is a year ahead in math, needs an educator who will help guide her ambitions and keep her challenged! The family values education and is committed to giving their children a globally-minded learning experience where they can make the most out of every location they visit, while feeling confident they are keeping up-to-speed on the milestones set forth by a traditional school system so their children can transition back in at some point. They are excited to welcome educators who share their values in education and a passion for worldschooling and travel.
- The family’s home base is in Franklin, Tennessee, though they don’t often find themselves there for long stretches of time! Candidates who excel at creating customized learning plans and curricula tailored to the unique strengths, needs, and interests of each child will be the perfect fit. Someone who brings strong experience or familiarity in worldschooling and finds joy in creating meaningful educational experiences and using the day’s location as an opportunity for fostering learning and excitement will be an amazing fit! The family is seeking two private educators who can meet each child where they are, including providing their eldest, a bright and motivated student who is eager to move ahead, and support her learning aspirations. They will have confidence and initiative to add to and execute individualized curriculum plans and will have a strong sense of emotional intelligence to connect with each child in an enriching and meaningful way while on the road.
- Since the family travels for many weeks throughout the year, the perfect candidate is confident and experienced in navigating ever-changing environments, whether it is a new city or country, and thoughtful about what it means to integrate experiential learning into daily life. Candidates who are well-traveled, culturally aware, and confident in managing logistics will be valued! A health-conscious candidate with a positive presence who can serve as a strong role model for all three children, supporting them holistically in their academics, confidence, and daily living. The family is excited to welcome candidates from any background or walk of life - they value their children being taught how to think, not what to think, and they are seeking someone who is nurturing and intellectually curious, who is comfortable leaving strong political or religious opinions outside of the classroom and maintaining a neutral, respectful environment.
- Responsibilities include designing and implementing individualized, developmentally appropriate academic curricula for each child, balancing academic instruction with an experiential, worldschooling learning approach while traveling, maintaining and tracking academic progress to adapt lessons across dynamic environments, and planning and supervising excursions and other enriching activities for all children. Candidates are also responsible for working collaboratively with the other educator and communicating effectively with parents regarding academic plans, progress, and needs, fostering independence, curiosity, critical thinking, a global mindset in children, and traveling. Little Rock, AR | Nurturing Nanny Wanted For Calm, Globally-Minded FamilyLearn MoreThis kind, easygoing Little Rock family of five is seeking a nurturing, organized nanny to support their newborn and two school-aged children in a warm, thoughtful household.
- Location: Leawood, Little Rock, AR
- Ages of children: 11 and 10 years old, and 3 weeks old
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40-50 hours per week, with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday roughly between 8:30am-6:30pm.
- Compensation: The family is offering $40-50/hour based on the 40-50 hours/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $83k-143k/year range.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a $200-$400 monthly healthcare stipend, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-out
Household dynamic:
- This chill, quiet, and globally-minded family recently relocated to Little Rock and just welcomed their third child, an adorable newborn boy. Their older two children, aged 11 and 10, are currently homeschooled, and the family plans to enroll them in school starting in the ‘26-’27 academic year. Right now, they are following an online curriculum and supplementing it with additional outside lessons, like piano lessons. Their oldest child, who is in sixth grade, enjoys art and reading, while their fourth-grade son likes building with Legos and participating in physical activities. Their son is mildly neurodivergent: he can be picky about food, especially texture, and sometimes gets overstimulated. He benefits from someone who is patient and can provide structure and a day-to-day plan to help keep him at ease. Both children love riding bikes with their friends next door and playing iPad games with friends from their old hometown. They have a solid morning routine: they wake up, eat breakfast, and then begin computer work before moving on to play or activities. Depending on the day, they go to various outside activities/lessons. Weekends are mostly off for them. The family also shares their home with three small dogs.
- Both parents are full-time physicians with busy and often unpredictable schedules. They tend to be homebodies but enjoy finding fun activities when they can. Mom likes baking, the outdoors, culture, and politics, while Dad is into language, technology, building/fixing, and relaxing. Dad will be taking three months of paternity leave starting in December, when Mom returns to work. With the newborn at home and the older kids still homeschooling, the family knows that having one parent at home managing everything will be a lot, so finding the perfect support is important. This is a Christian household where English is the primary language, and the family enjoys learning about different cultures and languages. The family travels for a few weeks throughout the year, most often to visit family, but they also plan special trips once or twice annually. Next year, they are planning to visit Iceland! Their home is also supported by a weekly housekeeper. They hope to find a long-term nanny who can grow with them.
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for a calm, laid-back, and confident nanny/family assistant who brings strong experience in caring for newborns and toddlers and fostering their holistic growth and development while supporting a busy, vibrant home. Someone who can maintain a clear sense of structure and consistency throughout the day and follow through will be an excellent fit. The family tends to be a little more laid-back in their parenting style. They want the children to have independence and free will, while also fostering respect, rules, and responsibilities. They would value a nurturing and decisive caregiver who can model good habits for the children and gently motivate them to clean up after themselves and contribute to the household. The ideal candidate is someone who can actively assist older children with homework and after-school routines. Patience and a basic understanding of kids on the spectrum, food aversions/sensitivities, and navigating big emotions are essential, especially for their older son, who occasionally has big emotions when he’s tired or hungry.
- Adaptability is important for this role! Both parents lead a busy lifestyle, so an adaptable candidate who can manage the family schedule, anticipate their needs, and pitch in with family assisting tasks, such as preparing daily meals, picking up grocery orders, and helping create an organized home, will be beneficial.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family assisting duties are running errands, light meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, coordinating vendors, and managing the family calendar.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who is comfortable preparing meals for the entire family and/or has a car they are comfortable using for transporting children during working hours
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Newborn/infant/toddler experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Family assisting experience
- Travel nanny experience
- Able to swim and care for children in water
- Knowledgeable and confident in supporting neurodivergent children
- Dog-friendly
- Valid driver's license

The ideal candidate will create a warm, engaging, and developmentally enriching environment for their little one. Someone who can read to her, play with her, and keep her actively engaged throughout the day while monitoring her milestones will be an ideal fit.

The perfect candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys supporting the family, and brings warmth and a calming presence to the home. The family is very social and outgoing, frequently hosting friends and extended family while also traveling throughout the year. They are eager to welcome a nanny who can grow with them, connect well with the family, and genuinely feel like a trusted extension of their household.

- Live-in/Live-out: Live-out. A garage apartment with a bedroom, living room, full bathroom, laundry, and kitchenette is available as a temporary landing pad for candidates who would be relocating.
Household dynamic:
- These intellectually curious, adventurous, and nature-focused parents have recently welcomed their newborn daughter and are seeking a nanny to join their calm and nature-filled household! They hope to find someone who can keep their daughter safe and engaged in her early years, nurture her curiosity, and develop a love for spending time in the great outdoors. The family also shares their home with a yappy but friendly dog and two cats.
- Both parents are scientists and academics who run a nature center, where most of their time is spent finding and identifying as many species as they can. With flexible work schedules, they’ll often be nearby, especially in the early months, and are looking forward to working in close partnership with the nanny during this time. In time, the nanny may occasionally join the family with their baby at the nature center, allowing both parents to stay connected even during the workday. The family travels internationally about once a year to developing countries in the tropics to search for and study birds, insects, and plants. The family would welcome a candidate who is open to joining them on these trips.
Ideal candidate:

The family would love to work with someone who can maintain an engaging, nurturing, and safe environment for their daughter - someone who finds joy in taking her for walks, exploring outdoors, and fostering her natural curiosity. The ideal candidate is someone who values early learning, someone who encourages a love of reading, and inspires their daughter to be curious about the world around her.
- An experienced, quiet, introvert with a calming presence who is willing and excited to work alongside Mom for the first few months will be a wonderful fit. Over time, the role will transition to sole charge as Mom returns to work full-time, so someone who can step in and support light family-assisting tasks will be highly valued. A candidate who can gently engage while the parents work nearby will be a perfect fit in this quiet and intellectually rich home. The family loves to explore outside, either at their nature center or on local trails. Someone who delights in exploring nature and loves to hike will fit right in!
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the child to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks, including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing the child’s areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family assisting duties are running errands, light meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, coordinating vendors, and managing the family calendar.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who speaks Spanish to immerse their daughter in the language.

- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Associate degree
- Valid driver’s license
