- Live-in/Live-out: Live-out
Household dynamic:
- This warm, structured, and collaborative Little Rock, AR family is seeking a nanny to support their two young children! Their older child is a 3.5-year-old boy who is joyful, affectionate, and generally easygoing, with a developmental disability, and will benefit from dedicated, compassionate care. He is nonspeaking and communicates through his expressions, vocalizations, routines, and individualized cues. He loves music, movement, books, sensory play, animals, outdoor adventures, and most of all, being in the water. He attends a full-time developmental preschool during the day and receives occupational, physical, and speech therapy, and will soon begin working more formally with augmentative communication. Their 1-year-old daughter is a curious and observant toddler. She thrives with responsive, playful one-on-one care through age-appropriate meals, books, music, movement, outdoor time, and engaging sibling experiences. The family has a friendly, older, low-energy dog, and candidates should be comfortable around pets and be willing to occasionally support light pet care.

Supporting the household includes biweekly cleaners, creating a coordinated, team-oriented environment that values clear communication and discretion. The family anticipates four or more domestic and international trips per year, totaling roughly three to four weeks, including a planned Disney World trip and a December Europe trip, with private accommodations and expenses covered and some personal time for the nanny to enjoy each destination when the care schedule allows. The family also hopes to find their forever home within one to two years, likely in California or Colorado. The right candidate will bring warmth, curiosity, and a learning-oriented mindset, along with a genuine interest in supporting children with a wide range of developmental needs and abilities. Their son’s disability affects communication, mobility, and daily living skills, though he moves independently on the floor. He uses adaptive support for longer outings and requires hands-on assistance with mobility and personal-care routines, so candidates should be comfortable regularly lifting and transferring up to 50 pounds as he grows. He also has limited hazard awareness and is strongly drawn to water, making calm, continuous, and proactive supervision especially important. A candidate who is eager to learn his individualized communication cues and naturally weave communication, motor, sensory, and daily-living goals into play and everyday routines will be a wonderful fit. The family will provide training on his individualized care, safety, and medical plans. Given his love of the water, they especially value a confident swimmer who is comfortable providing attentive, hands-on supervision in and around water.
- The family would love a confident, experienced nanny who is equally comfortable collaborating with a hands-on parent and independently taking full charge of the children’s day. Strong communication and teamwork will be important, including proactive handoffs, photos, a brief daily log, and timely updates related to development, medication, or safety. The ideal candidate will be genuinely eager to learn from the children’s therapy team and thoughtfully carry recommended techniques into everyday care while providing consistency, attentiveness, and reliability. An adaptable, travel-ready nanny who is excited to join the family on adventures and grow with them for years to come will thrive in this role.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children's areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines, preschool pickup and selected therapy and hippotherapy appointments, coordinating activities, carrying out therapeutic carryover in daily play and routines, children's laundry and dishes, restocking, preparing the older child's meals to take to school, packing for travel and relocations, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who has experience with developmental disability or therapeutic/clinical care, augmentative communication or sensory play, and has a special education background or general education experience. The home embraces both Japanese and Chinese language and culture, and the family would love a Japanese- or Mandarin-speaking nanny to support natural, child-directed immersion. As the family looks ahead to their forever home, they would also value a candidate who is open to relocating with them within the next one to two years, likely to California or Colorado.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for toddlers
- Able to follow individualized written care, safety, and medical plans
- Willingness to attend therapy sessions and carry out therapist recommendations at home
- Genuine passion for and desire to work with a developmentally delayed child

He's curious and engaged without being a physical risk-taker. Their 7-month-old is still revealing his personality but loves to eat and sleep and takes a keen interest in his big brother. The household includes a collaborative care team of a co-nanny, a flexible weekend nanny, a Montana-based travel nanny, and a grandparent who helps on Sundays.
- The family is outdoorsy and athletic and enjoys bikes, skiing, water sports, music, dancing, and group trips with friends. Vacations are centered around food, music, and exploring, less about sitting by a pool or beach. They are not an iPad household; there are no TVs in the home. The role begins alongside the family's current infant-focused nanny and will evolve over the next year into sole responsibility for both boys once her contract concludes in mid-2027, so someone open to this transition is important. Travel is a core part of this role, with the family away from Palo Alto roughly 12-14 weeks a year, including a stretch of up to six weeks in the Summer. Both boys will be attending a half week or full week school program by next May.
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for an adaptable, communicative, confident, and travel-ready nanny/family assistant who brings warmth and strong personal organization to caring for two busy little boys. The family hopes for someone who takes initiative in suggesting activities and enrichment, keeps up with two toddlers simultaneously, and is tech-savvy to stay coordinated within a team. A nanny with a love of the outdoors and staying active will thrive here.
- Because this role starts alongside a co-nanny and grows into sole care of both boys, the family is looking for someone who collaborates easily and genuinely embraces a travel-heavy rhythm with long but well-supported days. Someone who values healthy eating, consistent routines, and building close, trusting relationships with the children will be a wonderful match for this family's evolving needs across the year.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children's areas, after-school routines, planning and coordinating enriching activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Occasional family assisting duties include running errands, laundry, and grocery shopping. The candidate will handle bath and bedtime routines, take the boys on walks, outdoor activities, and to parks or playgroups, and communicate daily with parents about the children's day and development.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who has early childhood education experience, was a high school or college athlete, and has Spanish language skills.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional childcare experience
- Strong knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones and engagement for infants and toddlers
- CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to obtain
- Comfortable maintaining a strictly smoke-free and vape-free work environment (including the home, property, and vehicles)
- Comfortable with family assistant tasks related to childcare
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport
- Comfortable driving children, including in snowy conditions
- Strong swimmer and able to swim and care for children in water
- Comfortable navigating email, scheduling software, and note apps
- Comfortable with all travel modes, including boats, small planes, and helicopters
- Able to travel domestically and internationally with the family throughout the year
- A Note on Health & Safety Requirements: To protect their household, the hiring family requires candidates to provide proof of all standard vaccination, including flu and COVID-19, before scheduling an in-person trial or finalizing a job offer (subject to applicable laws and required accommodations). Because this is a private family requirement, any relevant records will be requested and reviewed by the family directly. Adventure Nannies does not collect, review, or screen candidates for vaccination status.
This position is open to all Adventure Nannies candidates who are legally able to work in the US. Out of respect for the privacy of the families we work with, we cannot provide any additional information about this position other than what has already been provided in the job description. Menlo Park, CA | Structured Nanny Wanted For Active FamilyApply NowThis dynamic, active family in Menlo Park, CA is seeking a confident, high-energy, adaptable nanny to support their four children and serve as a trusted, long-term partner to the family.
- Location: Menlo Park, CA
- Ages of children: 10, 8, 6, and 2 years old
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, guaranteeing 40 hours per week, with the general schedule falling on Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with the understanding that the daily schedule can shift mid-day and flexibility is an important part of the role.
- Compensation: The family is offering $48-$53/hour based on a 40-hour/week schedule, which equates to an annualized base compensation of $100-$110k range.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing 3 weeks of paid time off, paid sick leave, paid holidays, a vehicle for professional use, and relocation assistance for the right candidate. The family is open to discussing a health insurance stipend for the right candidate.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-out
Household dynamic:
- This high-energy, active, and busy Bay Area family is seeking a nanny to support their four children! Their kids are a lively bunch spanning a wide age range: a 10-year-old girl, an 8-year-old boy, a 6-year-old boy, and a 2-year-old girl, with the day-to-day role focusing 80-90% on the younger two and offering occasional support to the older children or various combinations of all four. The three older children attend school during the day, while the youngest attends preschool in the mornings, so much of the role centers on child-related household support earlier in the day and providing a warm, reliable "home base" during after-school hours. Their 6-year-old son has ADD and can be sensitive at times, and the family has found that calm, positive reinforcement and thoughtful little systems make all the difference for him. No two days look quite the same in this household, so the family maintains a shared calendar for each child to help the nanny know exactly what to prep for the day ahead.
- Both parents work from a home office separate from the household and are in and out of the home regularly, so this role functions as a true partner with the family rather than a hands-off arrangement. The household also includes a housekeeper and a gardener, creating a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Occasional travel around traditional school breaks may come up, sometimes with the nanny along and sometimes not, though it is helpful rather than critical to the role. This is an established family with a strong history of long-term placements, and they are hoping to find someone who will grow alongside them and become a trusted, right-hand partner for years to come!
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for a self-confident, adaptable, high-energy, and organized nanny who thrives in a busy, ever-changing household and genuinely enjoys a bustling home! The family is looking for someone extroverted, gentle, and proactive who can bring positivity and calm to each day, meet the children where they are developmentally, and build genuine, trusting relationships with each of them. Because the schedule shifts daily and sometimes mid-day, the perfect candidate is easy-going, autonomous, and truly go-with-the-flow, who stays on top of everything, is able to anticipate needs, and brings a positive, can-do attitude.
- The family especially values someone who can stay steady, patient, and encouraging while supporting their sweet and sensitive 6-year-old, offering warm co-regulation and positive reinforcement without being thrown off by big feelings. A tech-savvy, team-minded partner who communicates seamlessly with the family, particularly with a hands-on Mom, and collaborates easily with the other household staff will thrive here, as will someone who brings high energy and confidence to keeping up with two very active boys and their siblings. The family is excited to welcome a true partner who is eager to support them long-term.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children's areas, children's laundry, occasional errands, before- and after-school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who has prior experience in a multi-child setting, including preschool, daycare, or summer camp.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Experience traveling with families
- Comfortable caring for children with ADD/ADHD
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using Google Calendar and other calendar and organizational tools
- Valid driver's license
- Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family

- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who has a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a child- or education-related field, has an education background / learning-through-play focus, and is local to NYC and comfortable and familiar with Brooklyn.

- Both parents, originally from the UK and the Netherlands, lead busy professional lives, with Mom working from home in a separate office while keeping their children at the center of their world. The family enjoys staying fit and active and loves travel and cultural activities. Their extended relatives all live in Europe, so family members visit and stay with them several times each year, typically for one to two weeks at a time. The family also travels internationally to spend time with relatives, usually spending three to four weeks in Europe during the summer and occasionally bringing a nanny/family assistant for part of the trip. Throughout the year, they also enjoy occasional long weekends and short trips within the United States. The household operates with the support of a collaborative team, including a nanny for their son and a full-time housekeeper who manages cleaning, laundry, and family meal preparation. This is also a multilingual home. While English is the primary language spoken within the family, Spanish is also spoken by staff in the home.
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for a warm, positive, gentle, and experienced nanny/family assistant who truly enjoys supporting preschool-aged children through this exciting stage of emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development. The family is looking for someone who can foster curiosity, independence, confidence, and creativity through engaging, developmentally appropriate activities while providing a calm, nurturing presence and consistent guidance. The ideal candidate will maintain a professional yet warm demeanor, prioritizing thoughtful engagement and "intellectual" childcare over passive supervision.
- The family will value a proactive, organized candidate who can step in and support family-assisting tasks, particularly when their daughter is at school. A team player, emotionally intuitive, and an excellent communicator who thrives working collaboratively with parents and other household staff will thrive in this collaborative home. The family would love to work with a candidate who also finds joy engaging with their son and coordinating sibling activities.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas, occasional errands, before and after-school routines, school pick-up, planning engaging and stimulating age-appropriate activities, supervising homework as she grows, transporting her to extracurricular activities and playdates, encouraging positive sibling interactions alongside the baby's nanny, and assisting Mom with dinner, bath, and bedtime routines for both children and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family assisting duties include running errands, grocery shopping, taking dry cleaning, and managing the family calendar.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who holds a bachelor's degree, ECE units, or has a background in child development. A Spanish speaker would also be a plus, as some of the other household staff speak Spanish.

Household dynamic:
- This busy, active, and lively New Jersey family is seeking a rotational nanny/family assistant to support their three wonderful children! Their 11-year-old daughter is quiet and reserved, a diligent student, and a dedicated elite basketball player who brings real focus and discipline to everything she does. Their almost 10-year-old daughter is wonderfully extroverted, deeply warm-hearted, and full of big energy and even bigger emotions — she lights up every room she enters. Their 5-year-old son is an absolute sweetheart who is endlessly on the move, loves pretend play, and is fascinated by anything and everything to do with transportation. All three children attend school full time across two different schools with different schedules and holidays. On typical school days, the candidate can expect periods of downtime while the children are in school. Weekends bring more hours and more family time together.
- One parent is a hands-on, stay-at-home parent who is deeply involved in the children's daily lives and is looking for a true childcare partner to work alongside them. The other parent has a demanding professional schedule with frequent travel, so consistency and reliability in the home are especially important. This is a Jewish family who is looking for someone who is genuinely open and enthusiastic about their culture and traditions. The nanny will be joining an established household team with a housekeeper and additional support at home. The family anticipates 2–4 weeks of travel per year, typically to the beach, and they hope their nanny will travel with them. They are looking for a long-term partnership and are building a rotational team of two nannies to provide consistent, high-quality care for their children.
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for a calm, self-confident, adaptable, and open-minded rotational nanny/family assistant who brings a perceptive, resourceful, and structured approach to their work. The right candidate will be someone who genuinely loves children and thrives in a busy, high-energy household — someone who can hold the rhythm of the day with warmth and steadiness, helping three curious and spirited kids move through their routines with ease. They will be intuitive about each child's individual needs and personality, meeting each one where they are while keeping the household humming along. An ability to stay grounded and redirect with patience and creativity — especially during the more energetic moments — will be essential, and experience supporting children who benefit from consistent structure and thoughtful routine management will be a real asset.
- The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, communicative team player who is comfortable working alongside a hands-on parent and within a staffed household. They will be autonomous to take initiative and resourceful to problem-solve, while also being able to communicate proactively and keep everyone informed. Comfort with food allergy awareness — including reading labels carefully and responding calmly and confidently in an emergency — is essential, and a genuine openness to learning and following allergy protocols will be expected from day one. Someone who embraces travel as a natural and exciting part of the role, and who is enthusiastic about being a consistent, trusted presence across a rotational schedule, will thrive in this position.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing of children's areas, occasional errands, before and after school routines including school drop-off and pick-up across two schools with different schedules, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year. Family assisting duties include running errands, light meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, coordinating vendors, and managing the family calendar.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who has experience with ADHD support and family assisting, and is comfortable preparing meals for the entire family.
- The family is requiring proof of all standard vaccinations (MMR, Tdap, Flu) before employment begins and is requiring the candidate to remain current throughout employment, subject to applicable laws and legally required accommodations. This is a family requirement. Any documentation will be requested and reviewed directly by the family. - Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Dynamic schedule, guaranteeing 30 hours per week, with full schedules issued one month in advance to allow for predictability and work-life balance. - Compensation: The family is offering $40/hour with a guaranteed 30-hour weekly floor, providing a reliable base income of $1,200/week ($62,400/year guaranteed). With overnight pay and travel-week overtime included, total gross earnings reach an annualized range of $75,000-$83,200/year.
- Benefits: The family is open to providing paid time off, paid holidays, a health insurance stipend, and relocation assistance for the right candidate.
- Live-in/Live-out: Live-out
Household dynamic:
- This adventurous, health-oriented, and loving Durango-based family is seeking a nanny to support their incredible 11-year-old twin boys! The nanny will be primarily responsible for nurturing and supporting them. Both children are opposites in personality, yet complement each other beautifully. One twin is highly energetic, deeply social, and passionate about everything Durango has to offer. He's a serious mountain biker, skier, and whitewater kayaker who loves being out in the world and thrives with kind, consistent encouragement. His twin brother is cerebral, artistic, and wonderfully curious — a kid who asks big questions, loves writing stories, and has a deep passion for reptiles (the family has two very sweet ball pythons!). He's an adventurer too, a skilled skier and kayaker, but equally loves coming home to quiet creative time. Both boys are chess enthusiasts and love any game that involves strategy. They are heading into sixth grade, with after-school activities that shift by season, including a mountain biking team, ski team, basketball, music, and therapy. The family also shares their home with two dogs, three cats, two ball pythons, and a guinea pig. The nanny will provide full pet and plant care when the parents travel.
- Both parents are actively involved in managing the household and caring for the family's properties in Durango, Silverton, and at Purgatory Mountain. Their home is lively, spacious, clean, and easygoing. Committed to supporting their children’s holistic development, the family encourages them to build strong friendships and adores after-school playdates either at home or at their children’s friends' homes. The nanny will become part of a collaborative household team that includes a housekeeper, with full support from Mom to maintain the candidate's schedule. The family has built a warm, grounded home culture rooted in patience, kindness, clear expectations, and compassionate natural consequences. Screen time is intentionally limited, and routines are designed to help the boys grow into responsible, contributing, honest, thoughtful, caring human beings. Both parents frequently travel, typically 5-8 nights per month, and are very organized and detail-oriented about the schedule. The nanny will stay with the boys and care for the animals, plants, and home when the parents travel. The family hopes to find someone who can truly invest in who the boys are becoming and can grow with them for the long term as they enter the sometimes tricky pre-teen and teen world.
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for an extroverted, gentle, confident, and emotionally grounded nanny who brings both warmth and intentionality to their work with growing middle-school children. The ideal candidate should be perceptive, resourceful, and engaging - someone who genuinely delights in getting to know kids as individuals, understands that two children can be completely different people, and has the patience and versatility to meet each child exactly where he is. The nanny will be someone who leads with kindness, holds space for big feelings without raising their voice, and naturally reinforces routines and expectations in a firm yet gentle manner. Someone comfortable with the outdoors and excited to engage children in outdoor activities and adventure sports such as skiing, mountain biking, kayaking, and beyond will be a natural fit for the role. The candidate must also be an ally to the LGBTQ community and support the boys when they want to get civically engaged.
- The perfect candidate is someone adaptable, easygoing, and composed who transitions smoothly from a high-energy afternoon to a quiet evening at home. A thoughtful nanny who can assist the children in building meaningful friendships, coordinate with other parents to facilitate these connections, and truly appreciate living in a bustling, animal-filled home will be a wonderful fit. The family will value someone who will bring a calm, organized presence to their home. A candidate who is eager to embrace mountain town life and view this position as a meaningful, long-term investment in two incredible children will truly excel in this role. Additionally, the candidate should not be terrified of reptiles and should be interested in learning about them.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, encouraging and helping the boys organize their areas, occasional errands, managing before and after school routines, coordinating activities, supporting after-school pickups two to three days per week, and accompanying the boys at home on holidays and teacher workdays, staying with the boys and caring for the animals and home during parent travel (typically five to eight nights per month). The role also includes caring for the family's plants while they are traveling.
- While not a requirement for the role, the family would love to work with a candidate who has experience supporting children with ADHD and is an animal lover, especially reptiles. Both children lead an active, adventurous lifestyle and embrace a love of creativity, so someone with experience or a love of outdoor sports, including skiing, whitewater rafting, and mountain biking, as well as the artistic ability to support a child's writing and creativity, would be a wonderful addition!
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with older elementary-aged children
- Valid driver's license
- Animal lover and willing to provide pet and plant care when the parents travel
- Comfortable with and enthusiastic about outdoor sports

Household dynamic:
- These high-energy, systems-minded, and empathetic parents recently welcomed their first child and are seeking a nanny/family assistant to provide exceptional care while creating a fully immersive Japanese, Mandarin and/or Spanish language environment from day one. Childcare and language immersion are the central focus of the role. The candidate will speak exclusively in the target language with the child throughout the day, with a focus on providing live, responsive, child-directed speech. As the child grows, the nanny/family assistant will also support developmental milestones, arrange for the child to interact with other speakers of the target language, foster intellectual curiosity, and encourage child-led exploration through responsive caregiving, reading, play, and age-appropriate outings and activities. While parents will initially be present during childcare and may later occasionally check in briefly, the goal is for childcare during work hours to eventually take place away from parents to protect immersion and support caregiver autonomy. Coordination and check-ins with parents will occur in English and out of the child’s earshot. Both parents are eager to learn conversational basics in the target language alongside their child to support immersion.
- These entrepreneurial first-time parents are analytical, creative, empathetic, and genuinely engaged. They describe their household as high-energy, very engaged, and thoughtful, with a planning style that embraces both intentionality and adaptability as new information emerges. The family sees themselves as a guardrails-and-autonomy household, and is clear about a few non-negotiables: immersion, safety, development, and screen safety, while genuinely wanting a candidate with sound judgment who can confidently run the day independently within those boundaries. Warm, direct, and down-to-earth, they value humility, kindness, practical competence, and proactive and direct communication and are seeking a candidate who naturally embodies those same qualities.
- The parents are seeking a candidate who can maintain a respectful, low-pressure approach around the child. The home is vegetarian, screen-free, and social media-free, with a strong emphasis on health, outdoor exploration, and learning through experience. Family outings to zoos, aquariums, botanical gardens, and national parks are part of their rhythm. The family splits their time between Charlotte and the Big Island of Hawaii, with occasional travel to other regional destinations. Alternating between their two homes is a meaningful and regular part of their lifestyle, and the nanny/family assistant will be an integral part of these adventures. The nanny/family assistant will be invited to join family outings and lead appropriate outings independently when their child grows.
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for an intelligent, developmentally minded, team-oriented, safety-conscious nanny/family assistant who brings advanced fluency in Japanese, Mandarin, or Spanish and a passion for supporting language acquisition in early childhood stages. The family is seeking someone with a clear, natural pronunciation and consistently accurate grammar suitable for modeling language for a child throughout the day. The ideal candidate is perceptive, creative, self-confident, calm, with a positive attitude and a genuine love of working with young children. An upbeat nanny/family assistant who is excited to foster communication, curiosity, and learning through everyday interactions, reading, play, exploration, and real-world experiences will be a wonderful fit. Grounded in nurturing and evidence-based child development, they are comfortable supporting emotional development through co-regulation, empathy, respectful boundaries, and child-led exploration - with healthy limits while encouraging the child's unique interests, temperament, and emerging preferences. The home prioritizes empathy, health, and happiness. They are looking for a candidate who encourages the child’s natural interests and drives, while maintaining age-appropriate structure and limits.
- As first-time parents who value direct communication and continuous learning, the family is seeking a caregiver who can confidently take ownership of the day while partnering thoughtfully with parents. The right candidate is team-minded, nurturing, and confident, someone who brings experience, perspective, and sound judgment while remaining collaborative and open to family values and preferences. During downtimes, the candidate will help support household tasks, so someone willing to pitch in where needed and naturally takes initiative in maintaining an organized home will be an excellent fit. Since the family enjoys enriching, outdoor-oriented activities, they would love to work with a candidate who enjoys outings and learning-by-doing while staying aligned with their safety-conscious, screen-free approach. Travel between the family’s two home bases is an essential part of the role. Their 3-year-old twin boys are curious, energetic, and at a wonderfully active developmental stage, full of exploration and discovery. The family’s days are anchored by calm, intentional routines that reflect their deep commitment to thoughtful child development. Incorporating RIE and Pikler principles into daily life, the family values encouraging independence, curiosity, and respectful caregiving. The father is originally from the US and the family splits their time between Canada and their US residences. The nanny will be paid through US payroll, and the family is responsible for obtaining work visas for international travel, including travel to Canada, as necessary.

The nanny will be someone who genuinely values healthy living, time outdoors, and the kind of calm, nurturing environment this family has worked hard to create. The family deeply values emotional attunement, and the right candidate will be comfortable slowing down, listening, and holding space for big toddler feelings rather than distracting away from them. Someone who practices self-reflection and genuinely enjoys learning and growing will thrive here, as the family works with an RIE coach who supports both parents and caregivers as the children grow.
- Experience supporting twins and navigating a fully staffed household will be essential. The family will value someone who has a natural ability to show up consistently and brings a genuine enthusiasm for the possibility of travel as the family's rhythms evolve.

- Location: Coral Gables, Florida
- Ages of children: 6, 9, and 12 years old
- Start date: As soon as they find the right fit!
- Schedule: Full-time, rotational schedule of 1 week on/1 week off. Candidates can expect to work between the hours of 7:00am to 7:00pm Monday through Friday and 9:00am to 9:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Flexibility for evenings, travel, and occasional overnight shifts during the rotation will be key for the right candidate!
- Compensation: The family is offering an hourly and overtime rate equivalent to an annualized base compensation of $125-150k/year dependent on candidate experience. The family may be open to candidates who are seeking a higher compensation package commensurate with experience.
- Benefits: The family is providing benefits including full healthcare and vision insurance, dental expense reimbursement, fertility benefits of $50k, opportunities for additional earnings while traveling, and meaningful annual discretionary bonuses of up to 20% of annual compensation based upon performance.
- Live-in/Live-out: Ability to live-in or live-out while on duty, and live-out while off duty.
- Other notes: The family highly prefers candidates who are already local to the Miami/South Florida area or within a drivable commute to Miami for their rotation weeks. They are not open to fly-in,fly-out candidates.
Household dynamic:
- This close-knit family of five is excited to welcome two experienced rotational nannies to their household team as they settle into life in Florida. Their 12-year-old daughter is a bright, inquisitive, artistic child who enjoys creative and athletic activities. Their 9-year-old son is a kind-hearted, empathetic, sports-loving kid passionate about math and science. The youngest, a joyful 6-year-old, loves to play chess and is often winning against her siblings, parents, and likely their new nannies as well! The family has lovingly supported her through three open-heart surgeries and countless other severe health concerns, and they are amazed by her grace and strength through it all. Given her heart condition and immunocompromised status, the family maintains a strict protocol in their home to minimize the risk of exposure to infections and illnesses. All three children enjoy Pokémon, manga, Star Wars, and spending time together, and they attend school Monday through Friday.
- The family is incredibly community-minded, values kindness above all else, and enjoys spending time with large extended family, hosting friends, and creating meaningful experiences together. As they establish roots in Florida, they're excited to explore everything the city has to offer and would especially value at least one nanny who is familiar with the local area, including children's activities and family-friendly destinations. The household is fully staffed with an executive assistant, housekeepers, drivers, and additional estate staff, and they are committed to building a collaborative team with excellent longevity. Mom is highly organized, hands-on (she loves spreadsheets!), and loves partnering closely with the household team and spending time with her kids, while Dad will be working West Coast hours. Their rotational nanny team will work alongside the family and household staff to provide thoughtful childcare, support family logistics, and help create a smooth, well-run home.
Ideal candidate:
- This position is ideal for experienced, reliable, and confident career rotational nannies who are proactive, engaged, and genuinely enjoy becoming an integral part of a family's long-term support system. As the family builds a new life in Florida without an established local support network, they're looking for professionals who can confidently assess situations, make sound decisions independently, and seamlessly step in wherever needed. Someone who can find calm in the joyful chaos of school-aged kids will fit right in! Experience working in fully staffed homes, supporting school-aged children, and collaborating with hands-on parents will be invaluable. Familiarity with the local area and its family-friendly resources will be highly appreciated, especially as the family settles in and familiarizes themselves with all that southern Florida has to offer.
- Due to their youngest daughter's medical history and compromised immune system, candidates must be exceptionally conscientious about health and safety protocols. This includes following the family's illness prevention procedures, masking in crowded indoor public spaces, maintaining excellent hygiene practices, and participating in daily PCR testing to protect their youngest. The role also includes physically supporting their youngest daughter when she shows signs of fatigue or difficulty regulating her temperature. The ideal candidate must be able to assist, lift, or carry her as needed, and actively spot her during physical activities to ensure her continued safety, as she has made amazing progress and continues to develop. They hope to work with a capable and responsive rotational team who can easily integrate into the family’s dynamic and be passionate in supporting their warm, family-oriented home.
- Responsibilities include creating an environment for the children to grow and thrive, child-related household tasks including but not limited to meal prep, tidying, organizing children’s areas and clothes, managing occasional errands, before and after school routines, coordinating activities, and traveling with the family throughout the year.
- While not required, the family would love to work with a candidate who has experience traveling with families and children and working in a fully staffed home - able to adapt to routines and structures that have been established in the home. They would also love someone who enjoys swimming, skiing, participating in water sports, and/or ice skating. The children love these activities, and they’re hoping their childcare team will be excited to join them!
Qualifications:
- 3 years of professional childcare experience
- Knowledge and experience with age-appropriate developmental milestones for early elementary to middle school-aged children
- Physically able to lift a 35+ pound child
- Ability to adhere to strict healthy home / healthy child protocols
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport
- Ability to live-in or live-out while on duty, and live-out while off duty
- Fully vaccinated with all standard vaccinations (flu, RSV, T-DAP, COVID-19) prior to start date in accordance with applicable laws. The family will require a candidate to provide a full vaccination record ahead of hire to the extent that they are legally able to do so.
- Partners, family members, and/or pets cannot be housed in any temporary or long-term accommodations provided by the family
